Card is trapped with conectors in motherboard

I've bought a 5850 for my ATX motherboard.

But when I tried to mount it, I noticed that the bottom part kicks the SATA connectors. If I unplug the 2nd hard disk, then I can plug the card. Otherwise, it is impossible. I must choose: either the disk or the card.

Any idea???

Had to do this myself once or twice. I understand it when I'm buying a board with one PCIe slot, small form factor, but if you're designing a motherboard with 2+ PCIe slots you HAVE to know that your market is probably gonna slap a full-length monster of a card in all of them at some point. Never understood why they couldn't use right-angle SATA connectors on the board itself or just not put them right under the flipping card, but they do and so right-angle SATA cables were born

I just transferred one of my hard drives' contents to another hard drive because the card is long enough to actually prevent me from putting in my hard drive at all

I highly recommend monoprice if you can wait a couple days for it - $0.95 for a 90deg cable.

I order all my sata/usb extenders/similar hard-to-find-cheap adapters and cables from them, never let me down.
