Exactly. I am not replying to the neckbeards anymore. We had some problems, sure, but absolutely none of the nefarious rumor mill nonsense happened. Mooncoin is a legit coin with a legit launch.

We are definitely working on some new ideas for promotions and such. We'll probably announce some this weekend.

If nobody wants their MOON anymore please feel free to donate it so we can fund bounties and other promos: 2F4E859vh1ezhpdDnMZdcR4hS1gLn54ytf

You should have worked on these things before you launched the coin, it's not something to just rush, rush. The original wallet even had DOGE coin logo's everywhere!

It shows lack of character to not respond to critism in a professional way, you are putting down all those people who rightly complain and spent a lot of time to make this work.

You let your coin fall down to 5 Satoshi without even a fight! Admit your mistakes and make things right or people will stop mining and this coin will join the big pile o' crap coins.

I don't respond to criticism when the criticism is based completely upon lies and fabrication.

  • There was no pre-mine (stated countless times and easily verified by the blockchain).
  • The first wallet was not intended for release (stated many times).
  • The launch was rocky (admitted to and explained many times) for the first thirty minutes.

No amount of forum histrionics are going to change those facts.

You have to!
If it coin want to survive, it has to be USEFUL not only exchanges, shops with this coin for example. I wish you (and me) this coin will survive. I think you should make update of 1. post, for example what you are planing to do (red text). People have to know, your team is working on it and news will be very quickly.

Personally, I'd like to see it on Cryptsy soon -- not to dump it, but to sell a portion and hold the majority.  Gives me a little money to reinvest in my projects, but I'd want to hold most of it for longer term.

The entire crypto market will go up this year and with the flood of new currencies that is about to hit (we've seen nothing yet) I think there's a better long term chance for coins that get at least a little established now. But the ones that are around later this year will gain value and utility.

I think there will be a large number of currencies which will gain a degree of market share; I'd like to see Mooncoin be one of them and think it has a better chance potentially than some of the others we already have. Just needs a chance to gain some momentum and exposure.  I'm thinking about doing a little giveaway on Twitter maybe.

Here's a suggestion that may help Mooncoin grow - there's a company called Coinpayments.net which is a checkout system like Bitpay, but accepts a variety of altcoins including Dogecoin and Unobtanium.

They are looking for votes on which new currencies to add and merchants would be able to easily accept any or all of the currencies CoinPayments supports.  They are looking for suggestions and will be having a vote in a few days.

Here is their currency request form:

https://www.coinpayments.net/index.php?cmd=coinreq

I'm going to submit a request they add Mooncoin and hopefully the dev will do so as well.  Why not take a minute and fill out the form if you want to help out?
