What is the best --scan-time and --expiry settings for this coin?
Really hard to answer. Generally - lots of details play a part in this, but generally - the lower the difficulty the sooner a share might be completed by someone else. In the start I would not be surprised to see lots of shares being rejected even at an expiry time of 10-15 seconds. Some p2pools advice as little as a 5 second scan- and expiry time, for good reasons. I'm going with 10 seconds scan- and expiry in the start, and adjust as we leap along. |
