Can I altcoin mining on smartphones ?, I can answer, using official minergate applications.

In minergate itself there are many choices of coin for the mine, but the type is CryptoNote, such as Bytecoin (BCN), Dashcoin (DSH), DigitalNote (XDN), FantomCoin (FCN), Infinium-8 (INF8), MonetaVerde (MCN) Monero (XMR), QuazarCoin (QCN).

For the recommendation of coin to be mined in minergate there are 3 that is BCN, XMR, and ETH. Because what? yes because there is a wallet application in the playstore and easy if you want to be exchanged in another coin using Changelly service.

How:

1.) Sign up first at minergate.com
2.) Download the Application in playstore then login with account created at minergate.com
3.) Select Bytecoin then click start mining.
4.) Open the settings first to see how many cores will be used for mining.

My Mobile With QuadCore Specifications Cpu (4 core) speed miningnya only up to 8h / s.

In order for the status of balance or balance in minergate to be confirmed, then you must achieve the following balance:

Each Currency here confirms after a certain amount is mined.
(DSH: 0.1),
(BCN: 20),
(FCN, QCN, XDN, MCN: 1),
(ETH, ETC, ZEC: 0.001),
(AEON, XMR: 0.005)

To create a wallet you can use the wallet from Freewallet.org is quite complete there, or can also use another trusted wallet.

If i want to know "How to" mining on mobile phone then i leave a message here.

mining using mobile phones will not profit you can compare with GPU miners (e.g hash rate).

I think it would be a pain in the butt to calculate - but I bet you anything that whatever it costs you to charge the battery of any mobile phone is more than you would make from mining with a mobile phone.

Crypto currency enthusiast and miner since 2015. Mined approx 200 ETH during 2016 and 2017 and sold it at approximately $US40 each. Then I watched it reach $1000+ each. If anyone bothers to read this stuff pay attention to this: HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL

I started mining with 1 AMD 7950 and 1 R9-280X. Then I gradually built my AMD operation into 12 R9-290s. Awesome ETH hash but ridiculous power consumption and heat. Over the last year I defected to the Nvidia team. I now use GTX 1070s. They were expensive to buy (probably a bargain now) but awesome hash rate vs. power consumption. blah blah blah blah

The funny thing is I was mining with a galaxy s6 and based on what I was making did a comparison of a an s6 rig vs a 1070 rig and the profit per dollar spent ended up being the same.  Its almost like the prices of all hardware are set based on how much you could make mining with it.

The s6s cost 119 each but you don't need any other equipment to scale up (no PSUs or anything) and don't have to worry as much about cooling, noise, or profile of the rig.

To me, the software was the only downside.  I'd make an s6 rig if I could use another miner or even nicehash.

So true. Soon every mobile will have a blockchain.

Mining with the phone will be advantageous if the mining is done by some mobile phones that are assembled into one.

profitability wise is very very low, a mobile which has a hashrate of 30 h/s will return only $1.40 per month https://whattomine.com/coins/101-xmr-cryptonightv7?utf8=%E2%9C%93&hr=30&p=0&fee=0.0&cost=0.1&hcost=0.0&commit=Calculate

In future when a true only mobile mining coin is created,  mobiles x mobiles then profitability will be 20 - 30x times more. I would not bother using a mobile phone to mine right now, is pointless.

You can install the Electronium mobile app.
By running it, you will receive about 10 ETN daily.

This is not real mining but rather a "mining experience" as they call it...
This uses almost no power and is basically an airdrop. Hard to beat by any other mining process I think.

At the time of writing, more than 130000 users are running this "mining app". This is the way ETN is marketed and spread among users.  Seems to work...
