i made a public announcement to make it official and get the coin listed
actually friends started mining it long after the announcement...
but some people here also started mining (with a lot more CPU power than i can afford)... opened a pool and made a nice dice site

this suppose to be a community effort ... and i was thinking that the crypto community is more open and helpful (like in other open source project) = friends?

but instead people are being negative.. crying that there is no binary instead of helping to produce one
i made a mac binary after a short time, and the windows took me a few days and a lot of work and tryinng - and its still far from perfect (the windows client crash when closing it)

the premine of 500 blocks = 42*500*100/50000000000

i still don't intend to put in in exchange as i don't have money for it anyway.. and I don't think its really needed - more than enough altcoins already based on exact same technology.
or maybe it is needed... a coin for every town, school

You are a big liar! Very big one cause you know that all blocks will never get mined! So It isnt just 0.000042% premine. It is faaaaaar more! And again not even 0.000000000000000000000001% premine is good

i think comparing to other coins it was very fair.. some crazy premine on some of the coins here
even those without any special innovation (unless changing the GetBlockValue and designing a website is considered innovative)
and right now the majority of coins is spread among those who started to mine early with good CPUs (not me!)
i already gave away 1k into the dice site and will continue to give

and i hope it will be mined.. as long as i have a computer with a cpu and internet connection - it will.
even if its worthless

Create the coin from the start. Make a new thread about it. Dont premine anything. If it is possible have a windows client ready. Actually you must have a windows client ready!

Or if you continue this give all premine as giveaway. But all of it.

i suck at compiling for windows  :-)
i still need to try to recompile on windows, or if someone else can help with that (without trojans please - only a highly trusted forum member) it will be nice

you can also try to compile on linux

besides i would like to test changing some parameters (waiting for ex_mac the pool owner)
maybe setting the block rewards much higher so new miners can collect more coins

Windows wallet is working flawlessly for me.
1 active connection to the network.
Taking a lot of auto payouts at 100 each (so every few min) and 0 problems.
Win7
32gb ram
Intel i5 (3550?K version I think)
I haven't done Windows Update since I started mining about 6mo ago if that helps.

I don't have any real plans for this coin yet
as far as i know its not being traded anywhere
and i am not going to add it on exchange myself (no funds for that or much interest)
suddenly diff. jumped to 8 today! (i didn't look in awhile)

I would like to try a hard fork. to reduce the amount of total 'coins'
there are some things i missed in the code like message start
and probably more things

this coin is from 2013. so it's considered 'old'

I still think CPU coins, and also GPU coins are complete waste of energy
and running BOINC is more useful
too bad that right now worldcommunitygrid don't have any GPU projects
