Curious question.
If I leave my miner running until the coin drops, will it start mining as soon as the coin drops and the pool opens? Thinking about going to sleep and leaving my miner running if this works.
no, if there is only 1 pool - it will fall down. too many people will come to mine coin, as always happens. so... don't worry our servers are strong and reliable. To answer HardFlaccid question, no you can't because we even don't know what will be the Jane's parameters to give to qqcoinminer. Launch delayed to 21:00 GMT, good news, i'm tired as f***, going back to sleep

Never heard about it..

No. We cannot mine with cgminer. We need a separate miner for scrypt-jane similar to Applecoin or QQcoin.

No, you use yacminer, also know as qqcoinminer, velocitycoinminer, microcoinminer (they all just rename the exe)

Please make it someone clear for noobs So this will be mined with Yacminer? So then coin must be GPU scrypt? Or is it CPU only? Can I use same settings as I have in cgminer or it uses different settings? Is this possible, that this different "Janes" scrypt coin would be more resistant to upcoming ASICs?

I used GPU to mine Applecoin and Velocitycoin. There are all Scrypt-Jane.

Google qqcoinminer, download it, open the .bat file and look. When the coin will be launched you'll only have to change some parameters.

Is anything innovative about this coin? Is it even worth to switch my slaves from EAC to this? I am affraid, this even doesnt have any popularity, so probably it wont even do it on coinex or coined up.. meaning all mining is almost worthless.. but please correct me, if there is any better value than just PaD scheme for first miners in this coin..

This coin is very similiar to velocitycoin.
Due to scrypt-jane, your gpu miners will be less effective as time goes on making coin generation slower and slower.

I am using miner (ybcminer version 3.3.1.) for the first time.. absolutelly dont know how to set it up.. If I use same setting from cgminer where I am getting 700 khs, here it gives me just 275 khs.. is this normal or I am doing something wrong? Is CPU mining in other hand more effective on scrypt jane than on normal scrypt?
