Doesn't work with newer cards - miner throws error saying it needs an AMD card with 1.5G memory (this is a R9 280X with 3GB).  Since a 280X is just a 7970 and 7970s work fine that kind of sucks Sad

Cheers

6xxx series seem to behave like this: return not doing any actual work and not returning error code. Is this in Windows, and if yes, could you try in Ubuntu (you can boot liveusb to not disturb your main system)?

Yes, my OS is Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I'm not very familiar with Ubuntu but I'll give it a try and will report back. If you don't mind walk me threw what I need to do. I really appreciate you for doing your best to help troubleshoot this with me. If anyone wants to send any MMC my way I'll leave my address at the bottom. It's very discouraging trying to get to get this to work for days with no avail. I have an AMD x965 so its very hard for me to mine this coin on my cpu. Hopefully I'll get this to work or figure out someway to get involved with this coin as I think it has a very bright future. Thanks again to everyone and Happy New Year! Wish me luck!

I have an issue just similar to the guy with the HD 6950, but with my HD 6970 2GB. I read in the bitshares forum that Reorder is working on it, but does not own a HD 5000/6000 series card to test it. Strange that it won't work with the older card since they use same drivers.

I feel your pain. Hopefully they'll get the issues with 5000/6000 series cards fixed soon. If theres anyway we can help troubleshoot please let me know! I really want to start mining this coin Sad

Any news about a GPU miner for HD 5000/6000 series cards? I'm down to beta test miners and others probably too.

Check the bitshares forum. I don't believe there is yet but soon hopefully. If I hear anything I'll happily let you know as your in the same boat as me. Its really hard to mine this coin with a cpu now. I ran it on my amd 965 for 2+ days and only got a little less than 2 coins.

Hi!
I was mining mmc2 with my two 270x  cards at 20+ h/min.

According to calculator ( http://agran.net/memorycoin2_calc.html ) I should receive like 30 coins daily. But in reality I have got only half of it through mmc.1gh.com pool.

Can you tell me where is the problem?  As the source of GPU miner is not public I became suspicious, that the other half of the coins goes to some other wallet... Or the pool takes it. So I stopped mining.

But maybe there is just some issue with settings.

But both workers (cards) report 10 h/min in my comp and also web of 1gh pool reports 20-30 h/min. But at the end I get only half of expected coins...   Huh

Thx for any help!

Same situation.
Wasted time on that scam pool and get almost nothing.
Beware!

According to calculator ( http://agran.net/memorycoin2_calc.html ) I should receive like 30 coins daily. But in reality I have got only half of it through mmc.1gh.com pool.

Same situation.
Wasted time on that scam pool and get almost nothing.
Beware!
Don't trust calculators! Also your income is directly affected by constantly changing network difficulty.
