Sorry this one is the newer type.  No SD card in front -- So I do not think its backward compatible.

Can you post the model number? Should start with CECH. Also, what firmware version is it?

Honestly, I am not sure of the firmware, haven't played it for awhile.

Model number is CECHL01 -- so for sure its not backward compatible unfortunately.
