One one hand, it is the most used cryptos out there and was the first with smart contracts.
But on the other hand nowadays there are a lot new smart contract cryptos out there, and there is a good  chance that one of them like EOS will be successful as well in this field, thus ETh is not the king of samrt contracts anymore.

People choose to hold because the price is far from their take profit/ stop loss point and some people they just ignore it, meaning too busy with their off line job. Ethereum is good option even I choose to trade it not for invest. This coin has significant price action that can I use to create income. As long we can make money, all option is good to be done.

Hold ethereum because next to bitcoin ethereum is the second best and has the most promising future in the cryptocurrency business.
