By trading crypto currencies you can more than your target value but it needs skills,if you are doing trading without any knowledge then probably you will lose your money.I think leneding can be a better option if you want to earn fixed income from your capital but you need to be careful while lending cryptos and never lend money to anyone without collateral.

I think if he really has $20,000 he can easily to earn 5% profit per month because he can do with many ways and like you said, he can try with lend or trading, or invest. I prefer with lending on poloniex although the rate always changes, it's fine for me because it will give a profit for me but I think I will try with trading because at this moment, we can see that many coins can be our potential coin so we can trade for many coins.

I don't know such types of investment way that can give 5% interest every month! If you do Forex as some people suggested then your profit is not ensured, you can earn 5% or you can even a loss! If you go for the cryptocurrency, then crypto won't give you 5% monthly interest/profit ever! There are no such things trustworthy. You shouldn't fall into gambling, the best thing you can do buy a master node and every tool to mine bitcoin or Ethereum, your profit will be growing continuously if you do in a proper way.

Since we are facing a declining or red market now, earning 5% every month I think its hard to get here.  Unless, you are experts on doing day trade, probably, perhaps you could earn more than 5 percent per month " IF " you one of the experts traders. But buying mining rig I think there is a possibility that you can earn that without doing anything, only your problem in it is the high cost of electricity which is supposed to be put in a cold area.

I would suggest you not to invest all your amount at one place rather you devide your investment in different options.
Put some amount in bank FD .
If you are familier to Forex, you can invest some of amount like $3000 in trading, there you can earn around 30% per month easily if you have experience in trading.
Invest some of your amount in potential crypto coin for long term.
you can also purchase some physical Gold as an investment.

Good points, but you are not pointing out that Proof of Stake and Masternode coins let you earn "interest" on your crypto, so your coins grow in value, but this inflation also keeps their dollar/fiat value down,,, effectively, they become like any other fiat. You can earn interest, but their true value goes down lower, so you have more coins, but they buy less things.

Casino bankrolls are also not guaranteed interest, you can even lose if your luck is bad.

End story,,, no such things as any sort of profit guaranteed with investment.
