How to check the number of confirmations on the transaction hash?

Hey, I am sharing this information for users/newbies who do not know how to check the number of confirmations on the blockchain. There are a few cryptos like Bitcoin, Ethereum etc where the block confirmations are visible to everyone on the blockchain. For some cryptos like Ripple(XRP), VET and other cryptocurrencies, we cannot see the number of confirmations on the transaction hash. Let me give an example -

In this hash, we cannot find the details about confirmations on the blockchain. I will explain how we can find out how many confirmations did a transaction complete. In the hash shared, you can see the Ledger(Blocks, in case of other cryptos), this is the block number where this transaction included. On this transaction it is showing Ledger as 48,413,458, this is the block number of this transaction.

Now, you can open XRP blockexplorer - https://xrpscan.com where you can find the latest XRP transactions running on the blockchain. Currently, I found this is the latest transaction whose Ledger is 48,551,731. Now you minus the latest transaction Ledger with the Ledger number of the transaction = 48,551,731-48,413,458=138273. These many number of confirmations are present on this transaction now.

1) XRP doesn't really have 'confirmations'. They are meaningless. XRP is completely centralized and controllable.

2) 'Success' is enough information for ripple transactions.

3) This belongs into the altcoin section. Click 'move topic' in the bottom left corner and move it into the appropriate sub.

Thanks for your suggestions. I agree that XRP doesn't require confirmations. But there are other cryptos like VET or other cryptos where confirmations are required to check whether the transaction is processing or not. Because different exchange requires different number of confirmations in order to process a transaction. We can keep track of the confirmations, to know whether the transaction is getting processed or not.
