You don't understand how other books work. The delay is between immediate and 5 seconds. If the delay was 15 seconds then you would get shut out all the time since the game constantly changes. You get shut out at Directbet because they are slow.

During in-play betting the forced delay is just 3 seconds. Otherwise, bets are processed and confirmed instantly.
