There are BitShares, EOS smart contracts but I hardly see any usage of them in real projects.
I don't count Ethetreum classic because it's the same architecture.

What are the good working alternatives to Ethereum smart contracts that can be used in a real-world project right now?

EOS isn't actually live yet. You can use Waves for tokens and that's not Ethereum based.

Yep, I know that EOS is not live, just mentioned it as an example that is not ready for usage.
Waves platform doesn't have smart contracts yet, although they promise to release them this fall.
I need an alternative to Ethereum's decentralized computing, the platform where I could run a program that will control the issuance of tokens in a decentralized way as Ethereum does.

Multisignature transactions, namespaces and mosaics in NEM appear to be functional and solid smart contracts. I am still learning about it myself.

The real alternatives will be Tezos and Rootstock when they are ready. For the time being everything else is just copy cats. The chinese seam to be onto something with projects like NEO and Qtum, but I don't really trust them at this point.

Because there are two options of the best smartcontract project, the number one is the ethereum project itself and the second is the NEO, the chinese ethereum already provided the new smartcontract implementation.
I think neo will be worked as alternatives for the ethereum platform.

Actually if we all already have knowledge about Ethereum then there will be real work that can use ETH contract. For example hospitality might be appropriate.

Wrong wrong wrong.....These are flawed systems, even Vitalik recognizes them.

This will be the best platform. It's specs alone blast others out of the water. But the simple fact it allows any language to be deployed onto the platform is killer. It's not like ETH with its one language or NEO with its insecure centralized chain.

This is what i have read a while ago about Zen Protocol which is an alternative to Ethereum's smart contract. It’s integrated with Bitcoin and supports multiple assets. It was built from the ground up to do more than simply manipulate Bitcoin, though. ZP’s website describes it as a blockchain for finance.

Although this is something new and it was not tested in a real world application but i guess it is one the best alternative to Smart Contract.

Have you tried to write a smart contract for NEO?

I can't find one like you said. But I am thinking why many top 500 companies  involved with ethereum smart contracts, I don't think they are fools, that's enough.

Waves and NEO are the first two that spring to mind, why is it that you don't want to use Ethereum though? I don't really see any reason to use the others as from what I've seen Ethereum works perfectly fine, and it will only get better once fees can be greatly reduced.

Eos smart contract can't be deployed at the moment, wave is also am alternative to ethereum smart contract. I would love to see if Eos will offer something better than ethereum smart contract.
