Can someone in the know tell me if this is too good to be true? I'm kinda interested as it costs almost $700 where I'm from but this sounds a bit too cheap.. Also how would escrow work? BTC released once I get the unit?

I'd say by looking at all the evidence or lack thereof, yes, it's too good to be true. The seller is probably hoping people wont use an escrow or may suggest using a non-trusted one.

Any picture can contain malware these days if you're running win or osx or most linuxes and don't have industrial strength security software btw

I contacted him on ICQ, and he told me to download a program so we could talk anonymously. He said 'it was too dangerous to talk about it without internet security'.

'Nuff said.
