How does the script communicate with the daemons?

BTC deposits are handled via blockchain.info, everything else is manual, so there are no "daemons" on the server.

So I the admin have to manually process withdrawals?

Yes. You can also implement automatic withdrawals if you want to, it shouldn't be hard.
