I've been following this thing for a few months and figure with a bit of work and some marketing, there are several thousand dollars to be made developing a coin.  I have a Bachelor's degree in CS and have some ideas for unique coins, but would probably need some help.  Anybody want to make TRILLIONS of DALLARS?  Grin Grin

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Look into Colored Coins or MasterCoin.  They are working on ways of making unique coins, so that you can trade assets on top of the BlockChain.

I am not sure if that is what you are talking about with "unique coins", but I hope it helps.
