http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-25014477Recently E-sports released a game that had a botnet for Bitcoin mining built in (they're blaming "an employee who acted for personal gain").
One of their customers noticed his graphics card remained in heavy use even when he wasn't using the computer.
An investigation later, the state of New Jersey filed suit against E-sports for the takeover of customer machines.
Now E-sports is settling the case with New Jersey but "stresses that they do not agree with nor admit to the allegations against them."
