I always just type %appdata% in a windows explorer address bar then click on the bitcoin directory. Maybe you went to the wrong user directory?

Oh, thanks, now I found my bitcoin folder.

The wallet file is show like a MPeG Movie File (to be open on my KMP Player).

I will wait for the blocks.

Hi Bart,

My client shows 142555 "blocos".

I don't have XP so I can't help you find the Bitcoin folder.

Great!

From my experience it does take some time to download.

Yes.

I didn't open the ports, so it's taking a long time.

Some video playing programs create association for .dat files, i think somtimes they are videos, but in this case it's not a video, don't even try opening the file (some video programs have functionality to fix corrupt videos, there is the risk the program will mess up your wallet if you try to open it, just leave it where it is)

(I dont always get new reply notifications, pls send a pm when you think it has happened)
