I have a few cents wallets, some have been left running and open 100% full time.  These are staking coins at varying time and days? sometimes 9 days sometimes longer

One wallet i left closed and off line, opened it up and it started staking way more than 10x value?  so maybe you don't need to have it left online and logged in at all?  it will just calculate all the stakes you should have had and give them when the wallet it opened again? i mean how can it go up more than 10x in value if this is not true?

Also some wallets seems to have coins staking quicker?

Cents although worth about zero is kind of a strange but fun coin.

I have no clue myself.  Such a fun coin but a bit questionable.

There's a giant CENT pump on the horizon, guys @ cryptsypumps IRC channel were talking 'bout it all the time. Better gear up people - transfer your CENTs from wallet to cryptsy or buy - right now the price is ridiculously low.

We'll see buddy. It's a long-term pump as you cannot buy thousands of XPM "just like this", but eventually, when it gains momentum, it'll blow the roof. I've seen this thing before.

EDIT: The same goes for NEC, there's even a IRC channel #NECpump or sth like that. I tell you, there's going to be a moon launch on those two. You can ignore this if you like, no worries Tongue

How many Cents are there now?

How many will it be next month?

Before investing I would like to know that. Otherwise wallet PoS will be enough. Smiley

Catman is working on the "moneysupply" issue, he cooperated with Cryptsy to make it sync with the main, current fork, so now all depo in/from Cryptsy work nice. I'm not 100% sure, but this "drastic increase in total no. of pennies problem" could be related to this Cryptsy sync.

Unfortunately, in the "pump world" it really doesn't matter, it's going to be pumped anyway. I don't know how high they will go - my wild guess is ~50 XPM, but I can be dead wrong. It's going up, of that I'm sure. At the end it's going to hit rock bottom of course... SAD. I'm sort of a CENT fan, it has come potential (besides it's catchy name). Also, as it is not dividable, from math perspective it's pretty scarce.

Aren't there still some people with trillions mined in their wallets out there? Once cent reach some perhaps reasonable price (like 0.00000005 XPM), someone can just dump those trillions for a profit.

So it may be quite a risky coin to buy ...

Even if there are people who exploited that stack issue before the update, they seem to be operating on a different fork than cryptsy, so it's impossible for them to trade there (crypty is using the current, patched version).

read what i just said here..

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=42465.0

smarten up pleeez

basically there was a so called ""bug""
that made you stake 10x the coins, which i am sure was an accident from these coin spammer / cloner  Roll Eyes
which he said he was going to leave it be for fairness but then after he told me that on cryptsy chat he made an update killing that 10x bonus lol

the coin was also pre-relased on Cryptsy chat by Cryptsy "friends" and it was super fast tracked on to the exchange as well
i watched it go down right oin front of me but did not partake in the flash mining on day 1 like others did..
scammy dick did not ever post the coin here or else where either as any announcement and when some other guy did here on this forum
i confronted him about it and he said well this coin was a non serious joke coin for experiments and his own private use etc
BULLSHIT !
He and his cryptsy buddies made it so they could add it to cryptsy !
and he did not post it here or anywhere so him and his scammer cryptsy staff / mods could flash mine the shit out of it then STAKE it hard then sit back and wait..
and remember no one knew when the coin was released about this so called bug but guess who did ?.. the guys waiting for it to stake before it went on Craptsy..

CENT pump you say ? uhhhh no thanks i'll pass lol

AFAIK the stake issue affected everybody (coins just started to multiply...), so either the cryptsy fork contains trillion coins in it, or it is not very far from the genesis block (but that is not possible, considering the trillions already on the exchange... cryptsy can reset only as deep, so their wallet contains all the coins that came in - and possibly many times of that amount still lying somewhere outside.)

Spoetnik, I don't question things you said - maybe you're right, maybe not. But you know what, it doesn't matter right now - at all. This bug is removed, coins changed hands and those other guys want to pump the hell out of it. It's just a giant profit opportunity, so I don't think it would be wise to miss the tide, whatever your opinion of CENT is. "Don't fight the tape" as they say.
