Nothing wrong with conf, I mine it solo myself, some systems don't support port 22566, you can use other ports for solo mining like I mentioned in the announcement. This is a none issue for pool mining.

Is this the same coin? Re-release? I'm going to have to call you out on this. Show me catcoin was premined. The coin was NOT premined. I've seen this said in another KittehCoin thread. Unless you have any evidence to back that up, it's just wild baseless speculation.

Are you trying again? IMO one Catcoin is enough. Just cleaned up announcement from the 24th, the coin has a constant hash rate of over 200k, so not trying again, just simplifying the process for new miners. This is the original thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=383068.0

It's a simplified announcement to help new miners join in, all the links are from the original announcement. The original announcement was on December 24, 2013, 09:14:00 AM , so it was not up for weeks, this is a week old coin. Please do not try to turn people away from mining this coin, it does not help you on the long run, I understand that early adopters make more, but if we keep pushing people away from this coin because of our selfish reasons we will end up choking the coin to death. Before you throw away accusations about infections check the links. and find just one different from the developer links.

This Qt client been released 3 days ago and the coin is still open for early adopters, the time to get in is now. With all the pools setup and active, and most charging 0% to mine, the community needs to stand behind kitteh.

He made this thread due to all the spam from seller's and buyer's it got messy
I agree title is misleading
All we had to do was start ignoring the buy/sell spamers and they will stop
Same thing happened in the Doge thread but with pool adverts spamming it

Guys I will delete this thread once Lonestar108 cleans up the original announcement and simplify it for new miners, this thread is intended to support the coin and help new people adopt it, nothing in this announcement is different from the original, links wise, just a simple form.
If Lonestar108 has any problem with this thread, he can PM me anytime and I will remove it promptly.

Thanks, problem solved.
Edit2: Nope, they does not work. Edit3: It seems initially the outdated sources have been published on github. Just pulled a lot of changes from repo. Hopefully it will fix the problem. Edit4: Yes, problem solved. Nullu, thankl you anyway

Thanks This is exactly why this thread was created, as the developer has much to work on, and we need to help people adopt the kitteh coin by helping each other. I repeat this is not the original thread, but meant only to help new miners.
