I Ordered 1 unit of Black arrow software Prospero-X1 from Minersource.net (reseller)

Do anyone know what would be the customs charges charged during delivery of the product ?

or Is there any specified Rate or percentage that could be charged ??

Be careful btw, Indian customs is notorious for misplacing/stealing stuff. Your item may totally vanish.

Well the rates would depend on how they classify the asic. If classify it as computer equipment it will be slapped with 28.85% customs (and that too on CIF ie Cost of item + Insurance + frieght - if you dont get insurance it is taken default as 12.25% of item cost). If you are lucky they might classify it as something with lower customs.
