Hi ,

I recently created a Counterparty web wallet. Very cool, and I was able to purchase some SwarmPre with BTC.

I have been trying to get some XCP in the wallet from Poloniex.  I have tried twice to send XCP from Poloniex Exchange to my Counterparty wallet. Each time the transactions have resulted in error. Poloniex has been great about crediting the XCP back to my account on the exchange. However, the question I have is, what is the best way to get XCP into my Counterparty wallet? Strangely this has been the most difficult thing to do.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

This seems like it has to be an issue on Poloniex's side. I'd ask them. All Counterwallet is doing is receiving, which is really hard to mess up. If the coins are not arriving there is some issue on the sending side.

Hi Guys,

I have an idea for a super bowl betting pool that utilizes the Counterparty asset exchange and I would appreciate some feedback on it.

Basically the game involves purchasing a token over the asset exchange that correspond to the NFL team you think is going to win the super bowl, and if that team wins the issuer buys back those tokens for the grand prize (probably .1 BTC, per token).

Team tokens sold by the issuer correspond to their current Vegas super bowl odds and will be updated weekly to reflect changes. Owners of the tokens may do with them what they wish; they will not be recalled and may be traded openly on the exchange for whatever else is there.

I already registered all the team names as assets(except somebody had taken "BEARS" already... hey guy who owns it, want to sell it to me?), as well as a handful of domain names. You can check out a bare bones version of the site:

I have an instructions / rules list and FAQ I am working on that hammers out the details, but I thought I would open myself up to comments and criticism right now in case I am about to jump off a legal ledge or something. I'd like all the advice I can get.

I'm also thinking of associating image files for each asset but don't want to run into copyright issues.

The XCP community has a great interest in the feed sites and developers that build applications on top of the counterparty protocol and give it value so our post has great relevance to this thread as well.

We aim to keep our users informed of major events related to our application and want to address them where they are instead of expecting them to go through our thread for updates. As you may have noticed, we do not tend to flood the XCP thread with unnecessary posts. We only write when there is new information that is relevant to the XCP community, like in this case.
