This is a group buy for 3,000 bare Bitfury chips (~2.6Gh/s) at a total cost of $15,000.
These are raw ASIC chips used in the production of mining hardaware, not a functional miner.
MegaBigPower has stated they are expecting a mid February delivery for full reels.

I do not represent MegaBigPower in any way.
I buy these chips to assemble into working miners. I put together this group buy because I cannot take on a full reel myself, but want to be able to reserve my chips rather than wait for single chips to become available for sale.
If you want to purchase a full reel, contact them directly. You will get a better price and direct shipping.

Reel #1 has been paid for and is now closed.
Reel #3. As with before, if the group buy for reel #3 is not executed by the 12th it will be cancelled and everyone will be refunded.

The reel needs to be paid for by 1/12/2014. At this I am asking for full payment to assure your place in the group buy.

MegaBigPower.com will be selling single chips once they are in stock. This may mean that they are available for sale on the site before mine have been delivered. They have not yet announced availability dates or prices for single chips, their prices will vary from mine.

Payment will only be accepted in BTC, as that's how the payment will be sent. However, since the price of the reel is pegged in USD, the cost of the individual chips will be based on a USD price as well.

At the time of this posting, the Bitpay value of bitcoin is about $770. Prices are currently based on that, a final price will be given at the time of purchase. In the event the price of BTC changes by more than $5 at the time of payment;  If the price goes up, you will be refunded the difference. If it goes down you will be asked to pay me the difference.

Pricing Model:
Pricing Model:
$6.00 (0.0078 BTC) 1-49
$5.80 (0.0075 BTC) 50-99
$5.50 (0.0071 BTC) 100-249
$5.30 (0.0069 BTC) 250-499
$5.15 (0.0067 BTC) 500+ *Free shipping (In the US) for orders of 500 and up

Domestic Shipping:
Shipping will be 0.0071 BTC for USPS Flat Rate - Small Box or Envelope.
I can ship via any provider you like if you pay the actual shipping costs. I can also take pre-paid shipping labels.

International Shipping:
I can facilitate international shipping at the actual cost via your preferred provider.
I can only assure your package gets sent out. I accept no responsibility for delays or loss in international shipping. Please consider adding insurance. Also make sure you understand your local customs rules and regulations, as I do not.
USPS Priority Flat Rate 6-10 business days (maximum $400 value): $25
USPS Express (EMS) Flat Rate 5-7 business days (Includes $200 insurance): $45
USPS hands the package off to a local courier for international deliveries. transit times may vary. I would recommend UPS or DHL, but still need to get pricing for them. I send most of my packages through USPS so I am most familiar with them.

To Order:
Send BTC payment to the the address below. PM me with your transaction ID, order quantity, and shipping address. Reply to this thread with your transaction ID and quantity. If you want a private order please PM me and state to keep your order private.

Payment Address:
1KbT4MkxVDZDQCwMA9kpqCHS9jnEU9MKaM

Please only send payment from addresses you can receive and sign a message from. In the event this group buy is not executed by 1/12, any payments sent will be refunded. Payment in full is required at this time.

Once I submit payment to MegaBigPower.com, no refunds can be given. If the order is not placed by 1/12/2014 all payments will be refunded in BTC for the amount sent. If you receive defective chips, all RMAs must be done through me.

Who am I and why should you trust me?
This is my first group buy. I have purchased a lot of hardware from this sub forum, mainly USB miners. Any of the large group buy organizers for Erupters, Furies, and now Antminers have me on their order book. I have only just started using the trust system on here. I would prefer to purchase through a group buy than organize one myself, but there are none available, and several people in the bitfury sales thread have expressed an interest in a group buy.

I have transacted a large volume of BTC over the past year through #Bitcoin-OTC on IRC. I am highly rated on OTC. It is under a different handle, but I have signed and verified in a previous post.

I am a top rated eBay seller with over 500 positive feedback in the past year for the sale of Bitcoin mining hardware.

I work with an engineer locally to produce mining hardware based on the Nano Fury design. I have offered the finished product on eBay, and a sample on here. I hope to sell in bulk at wholesale through group buys on here when I can get the price and productoin quantity where it needs to be.

I am more than happy to verify any of this. I am willing to provide a higly rated escrow agent a copy of my State ID. I am located in South Florida, 33076.

I am committing to 500 chips myself. I can take up to 1,000 if it makes the difference between this group buy going through or not.

From my experience: Megabigpower is making modular rigs. Red furies are being produced but you don't see much being offered publically from the manufacturers. A lot of smaller people and groups are going by the open source Nano Fury design, a few different end products have been poping up on eBay. I have seen people offering "bumping" service, where they will mount your bare chips onto a working board for a cost. Usually less than what you pay for finished products but more than if you can do the whole thing yourself. I am trying to arrange something with my local contacts to offer such a service. There are also DIY kits out there, but I have not tried any myself.

I'm sure there are others, they sold A LOT of these chips on the last run, and only a fraction of it can be account for with what is sold publicly.

I would be interested in 20 chips

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

I can get 250. Not 100% sure as I need to research a little more. In simple calculations I can get approx 1k USD worth.

I'm gonna put you down for 200. I have a feeling at least half of the reservations are not 100%, so don't sweat it. This is filling faster than I expected though, I will do 2 reels if there is enough interest. As soon as I get something official from MBP I am going to ask people to start submitting payments. I'm sending some additional emails and PMs tonight, so hopefully I will get word tomorrow.

Sh..t, I'm currently out of BTC and will not have anytime soon. Wire transfer? Anyone have BTC for sale directly? I have verified account on Mtgox but it takes days to found account there.

Under development Modular UPGRADEABLE Miner (MUM). Looking for investors.
Changing one PCB with screwdriver and you have brand new miner in hand... Plug&Play, scalable from one module to thousands.

Well crap, i have been waiting for this for a while now. Does anyone have links to either DIY PCB kits or know of a PCB with BOM to build a miner out of these with? I was going to do a $20,000 pre-order next weekend but if i can get a whole reel of chips for just over $15,000 i imagine if i could find a decent PCB design in play already i could build a hell of a mining setup for 20k.

If someone has a solid line on a PCB setup kind of like the massive swarm of Avalon gen 2 miners running around with the 100gh/s nodes stacking up to 400 GH/s in a case i would love to see a link, and would probably take a whole reel of chips if you can get them this month.

Interested in 50.
DIY angle.
I also would like to take over the world via hashing but I'm still working on my hidden base.
