Hi everybody, still there mining and supporting MCR  Grin

Yesterday i've reinstalled the Win7 S.O. on my mining rig, and from that moment sometimes my MCRgpuMiner stops itself, the prompt window still open but seems like it says that the work is killed or smthng like that(i can't read it now cause i didn't took note of this). Never happened before, i've mined 24/24H since launch time and this issue never happened...

Any suggestion?

thanks in advance to all the mcr community!

On ~block 20k we have noticed 24% of speed reduction (7mh/s down to 5,3mh/s per card 290(non x)). Also diff decreased from ~18 down to ~8,5..
So maybe at block 30k or 40k we will notice another 24% decrase in speed, thus network diff will decrease again, maybe down to 5 ? rewards per block will be increased, so maybe mining right now it's not such a good idea? Just guessing here.... Huh

I have noticed that with current state 8diff and decreased speed I'm mining more than on the beginning with higher speed.

Read your own last sentence, that is why it's better to mine now than before Wink. As the N-factors changes again, mining becomes less attractive. However the block rewards keep rising, so you won't mine less coins Smiley

42 coin had totally shit network hashrate..
I had buy offers for 30 btc night before it hit cryptsy.. it was just shitcoin..
and then, suddenly.. someone wants to convince us how damn scare that coin is and it deserves that value..
microcoin have more interest than 42 coin had before it hit cryptsy..

anyway,  I dont really understand big verns logic.. if I would own any exchange, I would just put every coin there.. WHY NOT? he can only gain from commissions.. or does he have such shit servers that it cant handle few more wallets? lol
He just creates tension.. I hope soon there will be exchange listing coins instantly on launch.. as pools instantly have them, exchanges should have them as well.. then there would be no more stupid pump and dumps..

agree, BigVern has kind of "monopoly" and this create this sick situation with pump&dump.. Also it makes shit coins popular and sometimes good coins may die due to lack of attention.

cryptsy is corrupt big time. WTF with orbitcoin and now 42 little coins with no community and no reason to get added at all....then boom in 2 days they are on there and other coins with much larger votes and communties totally ignored.

I don't think they will steal your coins, however they are greedy and corrupt of that there is no doubt.

I want to hear their reasoning on adding 42 above the larger community coins if it was not just because they instamined a ton of it or got a huge bribe.

well guys, good job promoting this coin to get on cryptsy by
attacking the owner of it...

Does it really matter what coins get on or not.
Im guessing he looks at possibility for scam (double spending), interest from users and so on.
and if i were him i would mine or buy a ton of em prior to putting it on there.

Anyone stating else is either filthy rich or lying Roll Eyes

I think we need to focus on getting this coin attractive
before shooting at cryptsy taking it on.

If we cant separate us from the herd then it will just end up in another pump/dump thing

Lets see when both devs are available if some magic can be made:)

Totally agree with this thought...however i'm looking to develop a new exchange, but i've got no knowledge how to manage auto transaction between users thats sells and those wich buy..anyone could me link something where i can read anything about this? I have web server/user oriented skills, so i'm building a new, (hope) faster and lighter (but with a better appeal than coinedup)..I can also donate if somebody can help me choosing the servers to stay on with this project..

forgetme:

Do be carefull going down this road!
theres alot of smart people out there with the knowledge to attack and empty wallet before you know it.
meaning you got to focus on hot/cold wallets for funds. encrypted connections and the list goes on.

youll need pretty high knowledge regarding programming and use of sql DBs

if you fuck up alot of people are gonna be angry, and that attention is pointed at you!
Just look at all the previouse exchanges/trading sites etc that got hacked and completely emptied.

I would not touch this unless you have an high level of competance in system security.
theres a reason for people hiring expert companies to evaluate their system prior to launch,
we are talking 5 digits cost just there alone...

Really, double think again before opening a new coin exchange.
I agree to all the above and one more point....are you alone or is there a team that helps you?
If you are the only one with the knowledge to manage the exchange, a simple traffic accident or similar thing can kill your whole business.

Microcoin and Vertcoin are probably the two best altcoins released in a long time, so both will see Coinedup for sure.  Cryptsy feels like big Vern just gets drunk and throws at a dart board to find out what coin to add.....

We don't need any exchange yet. We need services. And as I have said once before, I would avoid coinedup if possible.  Smiley

Mine was just a project draft..nothing concrete..maybe in the future i'll update this if can get together a good DEVS team, and where i'm living it's quite "difficult"...
However i'm on 60% development for a faucet. I wrote today to MCR user (he's one of the devs if i'm not wrong Tongue ) to know what he thinks about. I'm really supporting this coin, not just for dump, i really think this is a fair coin, and for that reason is probably going to be a well stable cryptocurrency in the near future, i think after the 160k block there will be a triple interest in this coin. In the time we'll reach 160k more and more people will migrate to mine this coin cause of it's fair and smart block reward system, well projected.

This coin is fast, great REAL COMMUNITY (few but good in ratio with the other crap coins), no fu***ing premine, (at least at this moment everything seems cool and right), no twoday-after air & dump...damn i still cannot believe sometimes that every aspect of this coin is so good...hope we wouldn't get in the a*s  Wink Wink

Keep Micro!

users please redirect your comments about cryptsy away from this thread, and try to stay focused on microcoin. It's going to make the community as a whole look bad and maybe no exchange will want to add us

Have tried various settings to get a pair of 7990's working with this miner.  Best I can get is about 1.8m/hash out of each GPU (3.6m/hash per 7990).  Should be getting near 9m/hash per card but can't get anywhere near.

280x not a real problem, but again lower than others have with about 4.5 m/hash per 280x.  Should be closer to 6 m/hash according to some posts.

Any tips?

Windows 7 os btw.

after the nFactor adjust 4.5 is normal for 280X
but you should see at least 4 pr core on the 7990

Thought that the 280 may be right after adjust.  Can't get above 1.8 per core on the 7990's though.  Really annoying.

Tried shaders, addressing just one GPU, two gpus's on same card. Workload, intensity, GPU tune,  can't find anything that works. Huh
