It is very difficult to choose among so many nice coins. MCR is very attractive cryptocurrency.
I did bet on MCR for current mining instead of DRK or VTC.
Hope I won't regret it.

It looks like it's going to be "never".  People here are too concerned about getting all the easy coins to realize that nobody wants to buy coins on a cryptocurrency once it's effectively mined out.  I tried to create a marketing fund to pay the cryptsy bribe only to get the MRC community jumping down my throat and calling me a scammer.  Looks like time to dump at 2 sat before it falls any lower.  It's a real shame, a coin with a lot of potential and complete mismanagement.

Patience - just because things are quiet for a bit doesn't mean its dying. There is a lot happening in the background.

Don't get the same mentality as everyone else trying to make a quick buck and jump on the Maz/Aur trains which are stupidly high risk.

Cryptsy isn't necessarily a good thing either - a lot of coins get put up and then pump/dump then get left for dead.

No real subreddit, no news, no dev-support, no comments, no updates, nobody answers questions or talks at #microcoin, the list goes on. This thread is the only place in the net I can find _some_ news. Then there is an abandoned cryptocointalk-thread and one cool article in some guys blog (which was posted two days ago).

This coin has absolutely no visible community, just a few miners and a dev who is working on an exchange that is supposed to magically push MicroCoin past 10 satoshis, but nobody really knows how (no, I don't think trading coins with leverage helps mrc).

We have to evolve, explain our features to new users, develop tools and grow up as a community. Everybody is busy mining and selling at 4-3 satoshis, what's the point? Don't think everything will be fine after block 160, that's a trap. It's already priced in. What did the halving do to doge? Why isn't (insanity) wolf growing since every week coins are destroyed (no, it won't after week 9). Crypo in general isn't working as some seem to think it is. You need a strong coin, a strong community and strong, unique tools. Crypto is an arms race. Microcoin needs to earn some medals. Yeah, finally we are at coinmarketcap. But are we on cryptsy? I'm not a developer, so all I can do is vote at cryptsy and coinedup. Go to the cryptsy- and coinedup-posts and sign, it's the least you can do. And to all miners at the exchanges: >100 btc till 40 satoshis at mintpal isn't helping. This coin is awesome and unbelievably undervaluated but its community has to grow up. We need a leader, at least. Dev isn't helping, so let's get it on without his help.

Well said!  I'm willing to donate 1m MRC to promotion -- that's about a day's worth of mining for me, at current hashrate.  Let's all get together and get this on a real market before it fizzles out completely.
