this is not a scam coin.

I have been mining this since launch, origionally when it was released people called it a scamcoin and said it had a keylogger due to a false alarm on virustotal.com, i scanned all files manually with multiple scanners and they are all CLEAN.

the origional wallet had some c++ errors too which a fixed qt.exe was released to fix them.

Kudos to any of the early miners here that did their own investigation on the coin and found it safe, this could be a very big coin.

if anyone actually followed the origional russain ann thread posted in the op post above and translated you would see that it is far from a scamcoin and they aim to make it their own bitcoin.

GPU mining also works on this using smelter.

i took this screenshot at 5am UK time
https://www.dropbox.com/s/gicpg7tbw9zj46w/Capture.JPG

note the difficulty

and the difficulty now is

14:32:44

{
"blocks" : 20841,
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 43.96086303,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : false,
"genproclimit" : 11,
"hashespersec" : 0,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false
}

it very hot in russia atm.

I suggest anyone intrested in this to be following the proper release thread and translate.

http://2ch.hk/cc/res/13047.html

you need to enter a verification code to enter the forums

block explorer will be released soon according to the thread above

because there is a royalty to go to maker of quark smelter, 1/8 percent 12.5%

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=310975.0

in my opinion this is acceptable as gpu is ALOT faster to mine quark than cpu, you will find multiple times the blocks compared to just cpu mining

i believe in future each country will have its own crypto-currancy, china have cdncoin ( huge support there for it), russia 2chcoin, and india are releasing there own coin soon.

crypto-currancies will be a trillion doller industry in the coming years.

there are alot of bitcoin users in russia and china that seek a coin to put their own stamp on.

what makes a coin a success is how it is used, think of the population of russia and china, they could very easy setup an exchange in their own country and trade their own crypto-currancies into their own fiat.

this is why i try and mine some of all coins and hope i am on the rocket of one that is successful

150,000-500,000 btc per 1x 2chcoin? thats waaaay overvalued, i do not think that is possible. but the coin could still be a success and have a high value if Russia do embrace it as their own bitcoin.

i think maybe your english was not translated correct.

i believe in future each country will have its own crypto-currancy, china have cdncoin ( huge support there for it), russia 2chcoin, and india are releasing there own coin soon.

crypto-currancies will be a trillion doller industry in the coming years.

there are alot of bitcoin users in russia and china that seek a coin to put their own stamp on.

what makes a coin a success is how it is used, think of the population of russia and china, they could very easy setup an exchange in their own country and trade their own crypto-currancies into their own fiat.

this is why i try and mine some of all coins and hope i am on the rocket of one that is successful

If that is true then I'm going to be so rich I'll make dread pirate roberts look like a peasant.  Roll Eyes

this was announced yesterday on here, then the OP said it was a premined super scam...

forget this one folks get to copycoin now..... free friendly virus with the wallet too apparently .

where is your solid evidence to back this up ? apart from hear say..

just to clarify the coin was released yesterday with a wallet that had some c++ errors (non critical) and virustotal.com had false alarm. which later the dev posted fixed qt wallet.

I mined this from the start and there was absolutly no premine done what so ever, the only mining done was the russians and a select few that did their own investigation on the coin and scans to deem it genuine and safe.

as I have repeated over and over if people actually did their own research and investigation before calling a coin a scamcoin when they have no evidence to back this up.

the moral is here alot of you guys missed the low difficulty on this coin because of the hear say comments about it and not investigating for yourself.

the diff is now 114.10491665, it is a fact that the russians are going crazy on this coin, if you dont want anything to do with this coin then thats your own decision, should not be branding a coin a scam when it is not.

the origional ann thread is on a russain forum

http://2ch.hk/cc/res/13047.html

another point to note is that the OP of the previous thread was not the developer of the coin, it was someone who seen the release on the russian ann thread and posted it here, but then retracted and called it a scam coin because of the c++ errors in wallet and false alarms at virustotal

The coin started slowly and is gaining traction now. I guess its all the miners in Russia waking up while we were going to sleep. The difficulty is still low so if you want some coins you gotta get in now!

I was just browsing that 2chan forum for this coin. Some nice coin logos there. Then someone posted this. So I had to watch it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=101AlNxMXmk#t=184

Initial thoughts, Russian music videos are waaaaaaaaaaay better than the shit we have here. Leaps and bounds better.

Yes, i can find my graph. 9 hours ago and before, mix of blue and red pike, but over this time, only red pike (invalid). In historic of cpu minerd, i have only 1 invalid now, no valid. So, now, my computer have difficulty to do the job... i just don't know if it's because of the time that take for receive and send info between canada and russia + difficulty rising. Or problem i can fix with change minerd or other thing like that.

Thanks, got 123.4567, works perfectly (as before, lol).
There is no official announcment, but difficulty is like 20% from quark already and growing. Mining doesn't make any sense anymore.
Community seems huge. And seems russian 2ch community not interested in drawing ppl attention to this fork, here on btalk.
Making a currency for 2ch only. Oh well... My only hope it will work. First halving in a day or so already, meanwhile. Instamine as it is.
No, i don't want to say it's a scam, no. But, is it really going to work?
And are there any plans for exchangers?

@cryptominer,

I think the whole point of 2chcoin is that the russains want it to be their coin and do not want it to be pumped&dumped by foreigners.

from what I translated it is been traded between them to btc and back etc but I cannot find the exchange they are doing it on.

from what I can see the coin is working, its extremly popular in Russia, so why would they care if it popular outside Russia? they are using it between themself and mining it in huge p2pools.

the cpu p2pools I can find are over 1.0 Gh/s alone, not to mention how many GPU's are on the network.

the is the most promising all-coin to come out in a long time, along with the chinese CDN

There are offers up to 1btc per million for now. Dunno what its gonna be after it will appear on exchangers. Have a feeling it will be dumped like any other shitcoin before. Difficulty now seems being pushed up by chineese and maybe by japaneese also (they have they own 2CH AIB - 2ch.net). And also there was heavy premain (curr started 23 dec, realesed to public - 3 jan). About 90кк premain i would say. Developer giving it away. But there r still a lot on several rich wallets. And yes noone from 2ch seems want that coin going public on bitcointalk up to a certain point. So maybe this one is not just r one of a many? Well, i personally would buy it probably.

There are thread on 2ch (in russian ofcourse) - http://2ch.hk/cc/res/16469.html so goodluck with google translate.

I think the ideea to keep initial minning for their community is quite good, because here on bitcointalk the community is loose big miners are throwing any new mined coins for almost any amount, but russians are a more jpint community if they agree on selling it at a starting price of 1 Btc per million most of them will keep the price and not dump.
What i could understand is that they are going to make it international soon attending even to cryptsy so who knows maybe this can be a hit russia is the biggest country and with a strong electronic payment background.

I think the whole point of 2chcoin is that the russains want it to be their coin and do not want it to be pumped&dumped by foreigners.
from what I translated it is been traded between them to btc and back etc but I cannot find the exchange they are doing it on.

There are thread on 2ch (in russian ofcourse) - http://2ch.hk/cc/res/16469.html so goodluck with google translate.

very good points there,

Some ppl on 2ch r working hard to achieve completly opposite, as far as i see now. They r threatening exchange owners to put a bounty on they head via tor black market sites IF THEY WILL ACCEPT THIS CURRENCY FOR EXCHANGE. There r a closed conference where they making decisions. I just wonder what is their plan. And i know russian language btw. But not too much information in public.
And sites u have found were not created by developers of a currency. Some random coin adopters creating them. There r NO OFFICIAL SITES.

And complexity 50% of a quark meanwhile.

Any 2chcoin donations will be appreciated: 2UpvwcLGM4T8w7RogbzDrAmqK59B4da7t7

max coins is 5 billion, initial block reward was 16384, this halved at block 30,000 to 8192.

this is a genuine alt-coin made by the russian individuals, its already 87% of quark coin difficulty, in just 3 days and not even on an exchange that is mental.

I made a thread, any information I find from translated russian forums I post there.

Its not 5 billion then, but just 1 billion, if its having every 30000 blocks. Do the math.
How many coins per blocks will be eventually? Just 1 or even less?

why

Because of premine probably. But as far as I see, its beeing given away. And a lot of sites emerging. It's only a matter of time before it hits exchangers. And mining pretty easy right now. Could be good money in future.
