Wow... this is a first. Earlier we had candidates accepting BTC for their campaigns, but they were the ones who had little chances of getting elected. Now, a sitting congressman is accepting BTC. That's great news!

US is not embracing BTC, only one of the GOP politicians are doing so. Still it is good news. But the trouble is that even he doesn't know whether it is legal to do so or not.  Grin

Good publicity is "good" (for both bitcoin's and that congressman) . that's a good jump from being considered drug money to be used in all legal activities.
