Upon checking the price of ethereum in the market, it is not rising but it is also falling and going down like bitcoin. The rest of the cryptocurrency are also in red alert. So it is not true that ethereum value is exempted from going down. When bitcoin is up, expect that ethereum price will go up also and when bitcoin is down, so ethereum is.

Ethereum price is rising because this project is fully functional. Its smart contract platform is widely used by most ongoing ICO's. Eth are needed in buying token besides from bitcoin, as gas in transferring erc20 token and can directly convert to fiat.

As expert have been saying. They said it is bear market we are seeing at the moment. Crypto market hasn't been stable generally. As for reason why ethereum price has been good while others were falling, it means adoption and demand increased when eth price was stable, that is just the simple explanation i can give you.

What i have been observing for last two weeks that when BTC goes up the same is shown by other Altcoins and vice versa.ETH is a strong coin undergoing some improvements and will start gain in price after Sep-18 as the improvement will be done till Sep-18.ETH demand will increase and price will escalate.

I think this is also the effect because the price of gas and gwei from ethereum which up a few days soared also so high, the amount of ethereum that is in the wallet other than the exchanger can not strengthen the market volume, so it seems that the volume movement is just around those market
