After the slippery slide downhill this past week, I have been looking for ways to "earn" Bitcoins.

I'm looking for feedback on this website: http://www.freebitcoins.org > is it quite a new site or has been around for a while?
I joined up today but there doesn't seem to be many offers to complete, although if you do them every day then I'm sure some bitcents will build up rapidly. The ways to earn Bitcoins are just like the usual surveys to win electronic goods, sometimes very long and tiring but there are ways to skip pages rather than having to fill them all out.

What other ways are there to earn Bitcoins? The pyramid schemes, now they just all sound dodgy to me. I have tested one out this afternoon, but I did make a little mistake of not viewing my profile and sending btc to member#1 instead, argh! Will see how that goes, just like bitcoin kamikazee, you have to spend btc to earn it, but I don't think pyramid is a gamble like kamikazee.

I would be interested in reading other peoples experiences with earning bitcoins in this way, thanks! Smiley

Note: I have not used referral links in my post.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I've popped on to dailybitcoins.org.
It's a small amount unless you get the jackpot, but you can do it every 24 hours.
And it definitely pays out.

Here's my referral if you're feeling generous http://dailybitcoins.org/?ref=1MZtsqsw5rSYr5M6zZaQvh8NJCgjfuUN89

Outside of that you could mine or trade

freebitcoins.org paid me for a couple surveys.  As long as you don't give them any real information about yourself, you should be fine.  I believe it's a known fact that their referral system doesn't work or pay out though, so don't expect to get any bitcoins for people you refer.

Ok thanks for that, I used your referral link, I'm willing to giving it a go! Smiley

Also, I found this: Bitcoin Randomizer - I have sent 0.5btc and waiting now for the coins to come flooding in! hah I wish  Grin

Thanks for the tip about freebitcoins referral not working, I have removed it from my signature, to make space for more worthy links.

This is the second time I have mentioned this today but thought I would say the easiest way for me to get free Bitcoin so far is to play Texas Holdem.  This site has 2 free rolls going all the time.  Even if you don't know how to play its very easy to learn and you can earn .013 btc if you win the 6 player game and second place gets .007 btc and it is completely free to play!  They are trying to get more people to use there site and have the freerolls to do so.  I can easily make .05 a day without rely trying to hard and it is quite fun.  They have payed me out twice so far.  They also have Wensday freerolls and I won a $20 dollar amazon gift card and about .3 btc in it a couple weeks back.  Try it out.

Here is my referral link.  You don't have to give them any information unless you want to also.

Really nice link for poker. I have been using betco.in but there are rarely players there lately, so I really appreciate that link, nice table graphics too.

Ah yeah, as much as it's fun to play bitcoin games, I wouldn't recommend playing them to 'earn' money.

http://strikesapphire.com runs continuous $1.10 Hold'em freerolls and also something that's quite unique, a Risk-type board game called ChipWars with both 3 and 6 person freerolls at $1.10 and $6 each.

(They're BTC only for deposits and withdrawals, the $ is just used internally)

No referral link. I dislike referrals Wink

Well there are many different  ways to earn free bitcoins, most popular way to earn them, and also easiest way to earn them is faucets

But faucets are also pretty slow way to earn because it won't give you lots of money for very hard work so you shouldn't spenf your whole day for them

Ain't nothing in this life for free.

Either you work and get paid in bitcoin, or work and get paid in [You local currency] that you sell for bitcoin. You could always do faucets, signature campaigns, make your own blog and get readers that create ad revenue, and so on. However, these are all basically jobs, so we're back to my first sentence.

If you have skills, your time will be easier. If you can code, do creative writing, translate, do rote tasks or design websites, you could get freelance jobs that pay in bitcoin fairly easily. Check the service section here, or google btc freelancer. Also, google is your friend when it comes to finding the kind of resources you are looking for! Smiley

In what way does "I'll post with a huge ad in my forehead for you in exchange for compensation. To be eligible for this, I have to earn a certain reputation in a certain community." not equate to a job? It's still a job if you like doing it, despite what Karl Marx says.

You can surf all faucets and make some satoshi. Now with bitcoin on a high price is profitable to surf some faucets.
Also you can try gambling for fast earnings.

Earning Bitcoin through "free" sites typically won't yield a decent amount of funds, however I can see that you're not already in a signature campaign so that might be something that would be valuable and useful for the future, and a great way to earn Bitcoin.

I don't know the sites you listed and haven't used them before, but if they've been working for you then keep using it I guess.
