It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

No offense to Sci-fi exchange but we need to get this coin on an exchange with a higher volume once all the changes take place to really inject some interest in the coin. Check out CryptoRush.in, they have an incredibly dynamic exchange with how they buy/sell coins. They offer 5 levels within one another trade, 3 major and 2 minor. trade for btc, trade for LTC, trade for Doge, and two minors, trade for POTcoin, trade for DGC. The volume is not as great as cryptsy but their total volume is as follows:
Total BTC volume:      833.02838632
Total LTC volume:                 1,352.98196584
Total DOGE volume:   4,064,177.36054313

it will be our next priority
we cant act before fork is done and people happy
this was the right time to do the fix, before major exchanges

now waiting for block 33479...

That block is approaching pretty fast, are all the pools updated yet??

Good idea, I have added it to the to do list. But keep in mind that we are a small team and we must do one step at a time.

Pools have now 12 hours to do adjustments
im going to solo mine this night just to be safe

ufo.notnull.org will be all good. Notnull.org has supported this coin from the start, stick a fork in it. Wink And not only did we survive the Fedora fork, we did a billion coins on it http://tips.notnull.org/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks (from 60 billion to 61, in a few hours). We are running the latest source clone from Git https://github.com/UFOCoins/ufo/watchers.

Thank you all for the supplemental notifications on PM's, emails, pool forms and other public forums.

Thanks for mining with me, I hope the hard fork brings some good steak, good luck everyone and may the force be with you.

Please refer to getinfo below, DEVELOPERS, I don't recall the last version id, did it increment?

ufo-master/src# ./ufod getinfo
{
    "version" : 1000000,
    "protocolversion" : 60001,
    "walletversion" : 60000,

For Windows put this file on: C:\Users\itos\AppData\Roaming\UFO

I appreciate hard work you have done. But may I say that I think this particular line should be expressed as:
For Windows put this file on: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\UFO
or
For Windows put this file on: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\UFO

You know, I don't have a Windows user account name 'itos' in my Windows machine  Cheesy

Once again: great job done itos & co!

Amazing work guys - I've sent you all some UFO.

Looking forward to the new official UFO thread! I really think this coin has a great future now Smiley

Also - to make UFO eve more innovative what does the community think about adding the same N factor innovation as Vertcoin into the code? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=404364.0

This would make UFO resistant to the Scrypt ASIC's which are coming out - which means aliens everywhere can easily mine it - forever Wink It would also help secure the network from the hash power being concentrated in the hands of ASIC miners.

I know we just did a fork, but I would love to see this coin adopt one of the new innovations like this and really become something special!

We are halfway there already though I really love this coin  Cheesy

Ok, so we are supposedly way past the fork point but I am still seeing on the pool the estimated difficulty change in 800+ blocks. Is this a problem with the pool in how it displays this?

ive noticed that this pool has not yet updated its wallet or whatever its supposed to do.

http://ufo.incoinswetrust.com/index.php

so a quick question. if this pool sends out an automated or manual payout after fork and we have updated our wallets. Does this mean we cant receive our payout?

if so then ive just lost 1500 ufo's Sad

It's pool settings. Look every 40 blocks and you will see a diff change!
