Up for auction is a 7 day lease of 1100-1200Khash of scrypt mining power.

Starting bid is .01BTC

Bid increment is .005BTC

Any invalid bids will be rounded UP to the nearest valid incriment.

Auction ends 5PM EST 1/5/2014

Payment and pool information is due by lease start time.

Lease Begins 1/6/2014 7PM EST and lasts through 1/12/2014 7PM EST.

Quote

Seller: miaviator/gnar1ta$
Lease Term: 7 Days
Hash Rate: 1100Khash-1200Khash
Business Day: 10AM to 6PM EST M-F excluding US holidays.

Buyer agrees to pay the amount of the winning bid in BTC up front to Seller in exchange for a lease of scrypt mining power at the above defined hash rate +/-5% variance.

1. seller will host a dedicated miner for the buyer for the duration of the lease term.
2. seller will provide hash power using cgminer 3.7.2 on Ubuntu Linux 12.04 LTS.
3. seller will cover any and all hosting/electric/cooling/network/hardware/maintenance costs.
4. Seller will reimburse buyer for downtime on an hourly basis (in one hour blocks) based on: contract price / lease term / 24 hours * hours of downtime = x BTC per hour

5. Buyer may choose what pool(s) to mine with failover, load-balance, quota, and other multi-pool options available in cgminer.
6. Buyer may further choose to solo mine coins based on client availability for Ubuntu Linux 12.04 LTS.
7. Buyer may request changes to the dedicated miner either by a predefined schedule or criteria or once per business day.  Changes may take up to 8 business hours for implementation if not scheduled.

8. Sellers maximum liability is limited to the initial purchase price decreasing per hour the purchased hash power is available.
9. Any increase in hashing power will not be considered a breach by either party.
10. Hash per second numbers are as reported by cgminer after HW errors are taken into account.  Pool rejects/stales/availability are not considered a decrease in the provided hashing power.

If this dedicated miner is auctioned at the end of the lease term the current buyer will receive a 10% discount on their posted bid to continue mining without changes.

Timer is for reference only.  The forum time-stamp will count as the official timer.

Isn't 1/6 to 1/12 6 days? Looking at a calendar shouldn't it be 1/6 to 1/13? Since its a week, it should start and end at the same time 1 week apart.

The image thing shows the auction to end tomorrow, Jan. 6 at 5 P.M EST. I guess the date was just put in wrong.

Auction Fail.

Lease term change:

Lease Begins 1/6/2014 7PM EST and lasts through 1/13/2014 7PM EST.

Please post a tip address for pointing this out.

The auction does end tomorrow and there is only a two hour window for submitting pool information.  If someone is going to be doing complex pools or solo mining the timeframe would be adjusted to account for setup of the buyers system.  The lease time never starts until the Buyer shows shares submitted or receives proof of mining for solo mining.

It seems quite cheap.  I'll profit if I bid myself.

Transparency:

EnJoyThis is now receiving 1500Khash of hashing power due to the first GPU failure after burn-in. (That's like .1% failure rate!)

I'm crediting 0.0006547619BTC for the dip below 1100Khash for 30 minutes. (According to the terms 1 hour outage)

The remainder of the lease will likely stay at 1.5Mhash.
