is it a completely new clean wallet? or did you have the old one before?
what is the problem? show me the debug log

seems like maybe a port conflict, are you running any other wallets at the same time? it could be a firewall as well

I was wondering whta if DC COMICS files a lawsuit against Batcoin for copyright infringement , since they call it the official gotham currency and are selling batman merchendais, they have a pretty good chance of winning and then every crypto exchange would drop batcoin which would make it worthless , maybe that is the reason the price is so low because people are affraid of loosing their bitcoins

Before you should buy any altcoin, you need to do extensive research. In one of the articles about BatCoin the following is mentioned:

"Even though all names on the BatCoin staff are trademarked names, you can't really prevent from someone saying "Hi, you can call me Commissioner Gordon", or "Hey, NightWing here". There names can be used online without any repercussions, so nothing to worry about. It's a cool touch though, which I approve of."

I did my research and I came to the conclusion that 2 till 5 satoshi is a very good buy in level. Once my bitcoins come through I try to get as many as I can get. Thanks everyone for selling below 5 satoshi.

everyone can call themselves what they like , but they can´t name their product if it is copyright protected .

there is no guarantee that batcoin won´t end up like Coinye West coin

If it does become subject to any copyright, it would skyrocket values due to the massive publicity the coin will get which can only be good - at least in the initial hype.

But it seems like Batman is in this for the longer term so its probably a good thing there is no claim to copyright by DC.
