Cashed out and hope my chips reach my address. If not no big deal it was like 3 dollars. Pretty much done with seals as you can see in my signature change.

I asked for a 9.14 chips withdrawal yesterday (all my balance there) and 6-7 hours later they reached my wallet ...and if I remember correctly when seals was up and running minimum withdrawal was 20 chips.
They would have been entitled to deny my withdrawal request but didn't.

So whatever is happening there I can definitely state they have been more then loyal with my btc (even if we are talking of pennies).

Effective immediately, SealsWithClubs will cease providing Bitcoin poker and will be shutting down all operations except to allow player funds to be withdrawn for a limited period of time. SealsWithClubs is, and has been, completely solvent up to this point in operations.

WE URGE ALL PLAYERS TO WITHDRAW THEIR FUNDS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. PLAYERS SHOULD CEASE ALL ACTIVITY TO THEIR ACCOUNT DEPOSIT ADDRESSSES NOW.

On approximately February 11th, 2015, several events occurred related to operational security that we consider to indicate SealsWithClubs now operates in a perpetual state of jeopardy. We will not divulge details publically, but they may come to light if any team member chooses to come forward of their own volition at a later date. All player funds and data remain intact and the issue was not software related. We do not believe any of our Bitcoin wallets used in operations to be compromised or lost. However, this event has made the majority vote of the ownership and team agree that shutting down operation best move for safety and security purposes.

SealsWithClubs Chairman, Bryan Micon, would like to carry forward the business with his own team (currently settling in Antigua) but the majority ownership cannot guarantee the future security, solvency, and integrity of that operation because there will be no administrative oversight carried over from SealsWithClubs. Members of the SealsWithClubs team and ownership are not ones to lightly endorse anything, not even our own longstanding trustworthy team members, which is why nobody ever makes a sole decision. This dynamic has saved the business several times throughout the years. With Micon operating on his own with his own team, the checks and balances we have kept in place against one another internally for 3+ years will have been removed.

As the majority ownership & team will not go forward with operations but Micon is still in a position to do so, it makes the most sense to hand off assets to Micon in order to enable him to

Haha I would rather look at the two more established sites:

https://nitrogensports.eu

https://poker.betcoin.ag/

What the hell is bitstarz anyway? Do they even have poker?

Just looked into both of them

Betcoin has a fucking retarded tournament structure. Literally every tournament allows you to rebuy/register up to 2 hours in, meaning there isn't anything small you can play on for an hour or two. Nitro looks nice but there is a very low playerbase.

Yeah, they both still have some way to go but I am sure they will pick up the pace now that Seals has gone belly up

Someone should just buy seals off him and make it secure, was thinking it had something to do with pokerstars.  This is strange news though.

I'd like to offer a brief moment of silence for SWC and thank the DEVS for honoring withdrawals and providing a great service over the years.  I look forward to Seals 2.0 under Micon's leadership.

On another topic where is everyone going to be playing until Seals 2.0 is up ?

I guess not going to drop that nasty software all over our faces? bummer Looks like the govt was hot on Micons heels and he was looking at serious jail time for him to move to a non extradite country like Antigua. What else is there to say but thanks Micon for trying to provide players a place to play poker . Ran the site like a boss. Seems like Micon shares the same status as bodog calvin ayre it really is a shame. I wonder if this will cause a domino effect. The problem with seals was that obviously Micon was the owner I don't care what anyone says no way he would have to go on the run. The other problem was running a poker site albeit for bitcoins while living on usa soil. Making poker a crime is a crime considering people are allowed to blow their life savings on the lottery so hypocritcal.

Anyway thanks Micon you are the best. Hopefully you can get a site licensed in Antigua but understandable if can't.  Wishing micon all the best thanks for paying everyone out and thanks for giving us a great site like Seals to play on.
