Interesting!  What I take away from this is:  online play is actually more fair than live play, because of its use of a statistically proven random shuffling algorithm!  Grin

yes, online is infinitely safer as far as cheating is concerned.  even with all the scandals and collusion and what not, it's still on average much safer, and you can also much better quantify the unsafe areas.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

seals with clubs is rigged and filled with colluders.

dont believe me?
watch the full ring tables and notice how it gets empty of a sudden.
this site is doomed to fail.

Dude I play on there every day and not microstakes either. There is no collusion. Shit, I wish people tried to collude against me because usually it means they arent good enough to beat the game fairly and whatever tiny edge they got by sharing hole cards they would certainly give away through their terrible play.

Full games break quickly because usually a very weak player (aka the "fish") will bust out or rack up and sit out, and the rest of the players (regs and good players) will see their edge vs the field has shrunk significantly or is now negative and decide that playing the table isnt worth their time. Its the same on any poker site, go watch $5-10 on pokerstars and see how quickly a 6max breaks when the fish busts out. Sometimes instantly.

Regs not wanting to play other regs and or good players/pros is common on every site. Often I will sit at a 10-20 or 25-50 chip table on SWC waiting by myself for hours and the only times I get action are from new players or lower stake players taking shots - the regs know me and wont sit because even if they have an edge its probably small and therefore the variance will be quite high.

Cheating in online poker is tough to do effectively because if you always see the same 2 players at a cash table or SnG you know something is shady going on, however Im confident enough in my game that I wont deny action to anyone, even a 3handed game vs 2 people sharing a bankroll and hole card info: "Oh he doesnt have an ace cause I folded an ace so you raise all in on top he cant call OH SHIT HE HAS A SET!!!..."

Also, for the truly paranoid, just play heads up. Its impossible to be cheated. If you are looking for HU action, PM me and we can set something up, either HU cash or HU SnG, either is fine by me, anything up to 5000 chip buy in, I dont have a huge roll on Seals so thats as high as I can go for now.

I play NL10/20 two days in SWC.
How to adjust the poker window size?
How to take notes on players?
sometims I seen two 10/20 tables of 6seat but sometims no one. WHY?
Every time I can seat on a new empty table for every level in PokerStars, but SWC.
Sorry for my Chinese English Grin

The window size is currently not resizeable in the windows client, only in the web client.  The android app will resize to fit your screen.

The notes feature isn't working yet.

You can start any table you want with the table launcher on the web site.  I think there is a menu item to do it in the windows client too.

Sorry for my American English.

Thank you!
now I can open a new table.
Use English is hard for me ,becaus English and 中国文字 are The two extremes of the type of language. I reply that cost me 15 min Cry

I love invest.
+EV all the time.

At this stage the MTT schedule is a work in progress.  We are hoping to nail down to something very regular that everyone can expect week after week.   The "BIG BTC" continues to draw crowds as our biggest regularly scheduled weekly "big Sunday" type of mtt.

The daily MTTs we have to nail down - with the ever-changing price of BTC and our server-side improvements, we will stabilize the tournament schedule later this year IMO.

I can see you are used to posting under the strict Nazi-like rules of 2+2.  Bitcointalk.org is an open discussion, and while I feel the ownership here is less than perfect, the discussion is relatively free and open (except some touchy subjects like ASICs) - but looking for 'Stars-BTC trades you can find them in a handful of different areas on bitcointalk.  There is an entire currency trading section, but I think your best chance to find a RoW 'Stars players in this thread.

I wish I could take in trade and play SCOOP, but alas I am stuck here in the land of the free.  We had to make our own pokersite to get action again Smiley

That would actually be a remarkable miracle.

Seals chips will always trade 1000 to 1 with bitcoins. The only reason for a slight deviation would be in an emergency where you can't wait for Seals fast cashouts.

Do be very careful about who you send bitcoins and chips too, especially in return for PayPal.

Im having trouble implementing a proper system as i'm not a programmer, any ideas FM?

I mean id love to do it manually but i cant spend all my hours dedicated to it, but was thinking i can start doing manual cashouts at predetermined times daily.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated sir

My only advice regarding PayPal is not to use it.

PayPal must have an API. You would probably use bitcoind's API and some logic to trigger the PP payment API.

the guy that did this for Pokerstars W$:  Cashmanbrian

he may be able to help... he built similar system back in the day... if anyone here is as old as me, in online poker terms at least, and remembers the dumb shit Smiley

Also Ender may be able to help, as he figured out how to interface the client at least, as I do automatic business with 'bet' all the damn time Smiley

There has to be some messed up algorithm with your programming or something. I keep getting like the same exact hands on different tables each deal, and this happens multiple times in a session.

Also you should check your software to see if someone hasn't hacked into it and is able to see other players cards. It's happened for other poker sites, ones that deal with actual money instead of BTC.

I'll be on shortly and check it out myself - hopefully my error is I keep getting a royal flush.

edit: my 1st two hands were the same (7+8)  but different suites each time, third hand is different.

edit2: seems to be operating normaly to me. Maybe you just had 1 of those weird steaks of "luck".

A lot of hands are "like" other hands and if you are playing even a few tables you'll notice a lot of cases of matching and partial matching, it is to be expected. But if you get exactly 4c6d (in order) even 4 times out of 4, that's pretty far out there.

1 in (52x51)^4 ~= 1 in 4.946455187×10¹³

But given enough chances it will happen.

Note that's the odds of getting a hand picked in advance 4 times in a row. Getting any hand 4 times in a row is  a more reasonable 1 in 18,651,791,808.

The user end is the more likely side to be compromised. Anyone involved in bitcoin and/or poker should be careful about security. Speaking of, we will have a linux version ready soon.

Be careful with strong words like "always". What will you do if 1 chip is worth $1000?  Tongue
