The Iraqi dinar is an actual currency in Iraq but many Iraqis have become frustrated due to the fact that the central bank of iraq has kept the currency at a low rate. That's one of the economic reasons, along with humanitarian focus, that Dinarcoin-IQD has emerged. Check out the latest Press Releases:

That's pretty interesting, so maybe this coin can take off and take over the fiat dinar and become the central currency of Iraq. We might have a new winner for the first country to communally accept cryptocurrency as mainstream!
