First place people come to is this Bitcoin Discussion category b/c it has the most posts.  And how do we welcome them?  By scaring the bejesus out of them with MTGOX COMPROMISED TROJAN.  Embarrassed  The transaction volume thread has no excuse for being stickied.

In any case, I'm sure a large number of people, many thousands, have come to this forum to learn about bitcoin, clicked on Bitcoin Discussion b/c it is the most active board, spent about 15 seconds total and thought "forget this".  I know why they were stickied, back when they were news, so people would stop duping threads about this crap.  Now its been more than a month, people are not starting new threads, so it's time to UN-sticky and stop scaring away all the newbs.

Big time, I'm on my way I'm making it, big time, oh yes

I agree. And while the trojan info is probably still relevant, perhaps some security info should be in "New to bitcoin? Start here!" (If it already is, ignore that part, I never read that. I was already doing bitcoin for a good while before I came here.)

Trojan wallet stealer should probably remain, it's good to be aware of that for any newcomers. MtGox fiasco is probably old enough now to remove the sticky.

Thanks for the quick response.  I guess I should have posted this in meta.
