Swap went great, kudos to all people who put there time in it.
Been mining with 4 cores but had no luck yet.
I'll keep my wallet open as long as possible.
Very excited with all the new development for this coin.
Once again, a big thank you to the nobl team

Is it possible to mine with multi-cpu miner ?

Took me 3 hours to get a block with 8 cores

Plan of migration(on my side)

1. Just after block #534500 I take snapshot of PoW/old blockchain using fairglu's script
2. Distribute coins over test network (this takes about 45 minutes if no issues are spotted)
3. Distribute coins over real PoS blockchain (another 45 minutes)

This means whole process takes about 90 minutes. And if you imported priv keys from PoW wallet to PoS wallet you should see proper balance when whole process is finished.

Block #534500. Beginning work. ETA: 90 minutes

Can everyone check if your balances are fine?

Distribution of coins is finished. However I have noticed errors like this:
"ERROR: FetchInputs() : c1c1446c2c mempool Tx prev not found 3c7e85184a"

Trying to find out if this is a big issue or not.

I think we are good, which means transition to PoS went fine.

Numbers:

Premined coins on PoS network: 2,400  M NOBL
Existing coins on PoW network:  2,224  M NOBL
--------
Difference:                                0,176 M NOBL

Balance reported by wallet which contains premine: "balance" : 176595360.83010709,

Both numbers match

Analysis of why errors "ERROR: FetchInputs() occurred":
- host that was distributing coins sent in total over 1400 transactions as fast as it could
- it is possible some of these transactions were reaching network at different order than they were being sent which resulted in errors indicating orphan transactions
- however I believe these orphans were not real orphans, so when missing transactions propagated they were included in transactions

What is going to happen with remaining premine:
Premine will be burnt in coming days either using same address that Rofo used, or using some "vanity address" Wink

Please continue checking if balance on PoS wallet matches this from PoW wallet and update this thread with such information.

They were notified via ticket. I guess I can go to their IRC channel

I can see they have chat window. Do you have an account with them? Could you ask them about the switch?

I went to IRC, but it does not look they have IRC channel.

my balance is good in the new POS wallet. Great job guys!

One question, if mining via the wallet, how can I tell if my hashes are being accepted and if I have mined a block (can this only be seen in the debug.log)? I have set 4 cores to mine but my total CPU usage is only like 15%...

Have you done setgenerate true in the debug?

Your CPU should be on 100% if you are mining.

ok now it's at 100% with all 8 cores mining...not sure what was wrong before. Does 'getmininginfo' tell me when I've mined a block though?

When you have mined a block it will be shown on the main screen under the balance as "immature"

noblecoin-qt -salvagewallet doesnt work for me Undecided

What happens? Is your wallet encrypted?

I just ran it and it worked. Obviously we do not have our coins yet because the official switch still has 45 minutes until it actually happens.

I did notice though that the 2.0 wallet is back to the old ugly style wallet and it cuts off our last character in our wallet address when you look at the "receive coins" section or do a "copy address"

Does this mean our wallet address actually changes and is now under a new format of 1 less character or is this just a problem with the wallet that needs to be fixed?

ALSO: Just got all my coins in my new POS wallet via -salvagewallet command. Worked perfectly.

Confirming this - new wallet represents numbers using six digits after dot, while old wallet was using seven digits.

Code:
** balances on PoW blockchain **
< 23000013.9000092 9aqYdHJgHssy2TwBBpGK6eQ9PB47L24wys
< 21979383.2596245 9TcDJUnexh63rhSn8XdrUPnmJLR9JAJQFu
< 21476957.4001183 9h5a1vyhGmVV1s6cMXQF861yb2iqs2uJmz
< 20956838.3899915 9bCtCa3KoMv2Lg3DXLu3LEVS7fGSqECzJJ
---
** balances on PoS blockchain **
> 23000013.900009 9aqYdHJgHssy2TwBBpGK6eQ9PB47L24wys
> 21979383.259624 9TcDJUnexh63rhSn8XdrUPnmJLR9JAJQFu
> 21476957.400118 9h5a1vyhGmVV1s6cMXQF861yb2iqs2uJmz
> 20956838.389991 9bCtCa3KoMv2Lg3DXLu3LEVS7fGSqECzJJ

In case of Noblecoin such a difference is insignificant, but in case of e.g. bitcoin it could make a difference.

Good catch adam1230!

When you have mined a block it will be shown on the main screen under the balance as "immature"

Under windows you will see 'Stake' on main window.
Under linux you can use 'getinfo' and check 'stake' there. You can also check logs since if you create a block it is announced there.

You are minting. Everything is fine.

Information provided by wallet is just a guess. Wallet does not know true network weight. It only tries to calculate what this weight may be. This means the information is far from certain.

My weight is shown as 461265. Estimated time: 40 seconds.
