You need to check if your wallet is up to date - if it downloaded whole blockchain. Please go to our explorer and verify number of blocks in your wallet is same as on explorer's page https://chainz.cryptoid.info/nobl/

I dont think thats a problem. I download the new clean wallet https://github.com/eagleflies/noblecoin/wiki/Download around two months ago and it was syncing almost 2 weeks on my atom cpu and 2 nodes connections. Now I have 6 connections and synced, staking.

Maibe someone can upload blockchain file somewhere. I would, but I cant risk seeding some private info from my wallet by mistake, I dont know things so good to be 100% sure its safe.

"Checkpoint is too old" message is more like a warning than an error. I will look into it and fix it if it is happening. Do not worry too much about it. It is pretty much harmless.

Yes, we switched from PoW to PoS 3 years ago to fix inflation problem and also to prevent attacks. In the past NobleCoin was under 51% attack when we were still PoW coin.

I have uploaded current blockchain. Please check download page at https://github.com/eagleflies/noblecoin/wiki/Download

And follow the procedure:
1. download blockchain.tgz file
2. unpack it into directory where you have your current blockchain files
3. start noblecoin-qt.exe
4. verify if your wallet accepted those files

I have uploaded blockchain files from linux and thinking they should work. But if there is an issue please let me know.

i'm also curious on the price... had sent Rofo a PM about this and asked him on the reason on the sudden surge on the price and market capitalization...

anyhow, my take is that the Law of Supply and Demand had kicked in... people are buying NOBL... the demand is high compared to the supply or availble coins that are sold...

this is just my take though... again, i don't really know what exactly had pulled-up the price of our coin (NOBL) these days...

About an hour ago. I tweeted a screenshot of the 3 month chart from coinmarketcap.com to a crypto trading adviser who has a loyal following of about 25k people. I honestly think that helped...It doesnt take much. I wish this discussion thread could get partially moved to subreddit. RDD has 32k members and a thriving community and look at the growth. It wasn't just Mcafee.

It's an extremely good sign that this coin appears to be closely linked to the development of reputable mobile apps (take a look at NoblePay and the other "Noble" mobile app developments) that already are used for peer to peer financial transactions. At a fraction of a penny, market cap hovering around 6M at the moment, and a reasonable number of coins in circulation, this is definitely far underpriced, with tons of room to grow and multiply over the next year exponentially. I wonder if they're waiting to have a line of working products before making an announcement this year and pushing the marketing? My one complaint is that they could be more active about being more visible, but maybe they don't want the attention before there's more progress and a clearer road map for the next year or so.

Either way - let's all rejoice in the fact that we're here early before that hits. Very lucky find at this stage I think, and keeping my fingers crossed!
