An idea I thought could work for Noble was a form of POS, but not in coins, but in marketplace discounts, which is more or less what you just suggested. I think I even mentioned the idea upon the noble forum once upon a time. Such as hold a coin for a month, you get an extra 1% discount tacked onto your account... another month, another 1%, and so on. Cap it at a certain amount, just so people actually buy something eventually. Yet I guess there is only so much of a discount you can offer before you'd go broke.
Exactly, perhaps you were the one that seeded the idea in our heads. The issue is how long the discount can last (I can probably guarantee at least 6 months) and how to continue making the coin something people want to hold afterwards. To be frank I could blatantly buy a number of coins, released by us or dead, and then offer up to 50% deals on the marketplace to entice a rush of buys and pump the price. I could cash out on the pump and use the profit to provide said deal for a certain amount of time. Sooner or later the game of musical chairs would be over though, the deal would end and people would be left holding. So what we are planning is how to deal with this transparently, that encourages speculation, hoarding and volume, using a number of umbrella coins with differing, preferable specifications to counterbalance and deals to swing back and forth. Deal for one coin one month, deal for another coin the other month. Massive incentive to buy, trade, hoard, speculate on Noble-linked coins, because sooner or later you would score great deals if you wanted even if you lost out on the previous round. A 'commerce system' that needs a lot of thought if it's to be done as honest and transparently as possible, while remaining enticing for people to buy and hold regardless of current deals. I personally think there is a lot of power in the marketplace, it just needs to be realised and come to fruition. Basically whatever it takes to make sure NOBL stays enticing as hot technical specifications change approximately every 3 weeks.

Dangerous if not done correctly, as then you'll end up with people dumping coins as soon as a deal is over. It'd basically be a race to get that discount on a specific coin, then move to next and so on. It could end up with wild price fluctuations overriding any potential discount... and/or a lot of very unhappy holders. People may simply dump one coin after a deal is over to put into the next coin. You'd have to make sure all coins stayed viable, at least in owner's minds. I'm not sure if people have a long enough attention span for it though.

Then how i can enlist my quantity on the noble rich list ?
Please guide me....!!
Install the wallet on your pc, generate an address there, and withdraw from mintpal to that address. Your address will get ranked withing 6 hours (ranking are updated every 6 hours). Just make sure you properly back up your wallet then, or your NOBL could get lost.

Of course don't give away the drives to people, or don't put your backup on a network where others have access. I think I am paranoid about losing my wallets, so I make way too many backups... but better safe than sorry. Also in regard to wallets, for iffy coins (not Noble), new coins that just came out, giveaway coins and things like that, it's always safer to install wallets in a virtual machine. Or possibly a spare PC you have no important data on. Not all wallets are benign.

Download: https://www.noblemovement.com/downloads/NobleCoin-Qt-v1.0.1-Heartbleed.zipFrom the front page of this thread. Download and install. Assuming you have a firewall installed, give the wallet access to get through. Wait and let the wallet sync (may take a while). Click the deposit coins option, copy the address. Go to Mintpal, withdraw coins to that address. Remember to then go to the email you are using for MintPal to verify the withdrawal. Once you have your coins, go to the backup wallet option in the wallet, save the backup. And as I stated above... save the backup more than once, if you want to be extra safe. I'll also add, make sure the PC you are installing to has a virus checker and is nice and clean. Little point in sending coins to your wallet on an infected PC.

If you do the password thing, don't forget to write it down somewhere. I think you are sort of doomed if you forget it.

Noble is already listed on a lot of (good) exchanges, so I don't see much reason to keep voting for all the exchanges. Especially with this flood of new exchanges coming up. Also, creating accounts for 101 exchanges doesn't make it any easier.

Rofo, very exciting news. It seems like a lot to deal with though, but I think you can pull it off!
Value dilution is a real concern imo. You cannot just give away coins and give them value. (although this did work for new coins like comm, c2, etc)
Maybe this can be used to seed the "pre-mine", or what would then be the development fund. Say you can "turn in" 10% of your noble holdings to gain a 100% of your total noble share in the other coins. This way value is created and you ensure you can keep providing discounts and bounties.

That's a good idea. Initially we wanted to ask people to turn NOBL in for a share in new coins, kind of like buying preferred specifications at a price, and then putting them all in the 'reserves', reducing the current supply on the market. However then we wanted to use it in a way to reward those who held NOBL and preferred to get rewarded a similar piece in a partnered PoS coin (for example) that they could trust as well as use on the marketplace. It's a tough call to make. Perhaps a balancing act like you said would be best.
Edit: To be honest this was my personally preferred idea. IPOs for new Noble-partnered coins with short-term deals to entice initial investment and buying. You could buy your stake or initial holding with NOBL and then go from there. This moves NOBL off the market into the reserves (ideally never spent). It might be more rewarding to NOBL holders to do it this way to increase their value, rather than rewarding them with 'free' coins. It would attach a price to initial release, as well as reduce the supply of NOBL on the market.
Many people wanted us to 'police' and stamp coins for approval that followed the 'NOBL' way of doing things. In some ways this is taking it a little step further and just doing it ourselves rather than having to monitor a dozen other teams and specifications as if we were some sort of delegated sheriff.
