The reason why i ask this is because now all the multipool are prepared and they will start mining like crazy, difficulty will increase like crazy and they will go away the next day to mine another coin. They are not here because they believe in a coin but they are just here to make money. If people are not releasing with date and time then they don't have time to arrange everything, so this give other people the chance to mine coin too.

STOP giving big rewards for first starters. Give big rewards for people that mine longer. That is why i like Earthcoin, no big rewards, and some days you can earn a few more coins.

For example start with:

50 coins per block for the first day
55 coins per block for the second day
60 coins per block for the third day

then you will not have those multipool on your coin anymore, they will only come when your coin add value in the marketplace, but at that time you have a lot of miners that believed in your coin and the price of your coin will be more stable.

A smart coder would use code obfuscation and hide block rewards at start, and then promise on certain days there will be significantly increased block rewards.

No that is work. I know there are PLENTY of people here that could do something like that. On the other hand that is work, and when you still got tons of people still falling for the copy/paste BS and making only early adaptors with mega hash power+ devs rich beyond we all could imagine for a simple 10 minutes of work.


Dont get me wrong there has been some interesting concepts recently, but in reality 95% of the coins in the last month are nothing but pump and dumps.

I do think one coin at least when I was first active, Americacoin or something like that did try and it failed. I think that was because the dif got so high before the blocks started to reward.

fixes block reward is the only fair solution, why insiders or early adopter must have some advantage about the others, for me it is the ugly side of Bitcoin would prefer one hundred year of same reward per block and after only the fees, i mean the objetive of a crypto-currency should be  a secure, fast and fair payment medium not a system for make rich to the early adpters, of course it is only my opinion
