55 BTC buy wall there all night. That means something. Someone is willing to spend that much on this coin. Amazing.
Big gears on the move.
ps - coinedup just got like 3x faster with the last upgrade. I'm sorry but that is like my favorite site these days.
EDIT -- 20 BTC buy wall just laid down ABOVE the 55 BTC wall.
whoa
I suspect we are only stalled at the current level until bitcoin finds a bottom. That action is pretty nuts here. Low on bitstamp is 666 so I kind of hope that get clipped by a point at least. 686 last, swinging wide. Edit- 662 new low and rallying back to 700. Btw what amazes me more than the 55BTC wall is that someone would send 55BTC to cryptsy. That has to be rough on the nerves.haha so true man!

Why the heck is poloniex.com asking me to pay 2 bitcoins for 20 VTC coins!?!?
Buy VTC
You have 0.102 BTC Lowest ask 0.0067 BTC Price: BTC Amount: VTC Total: BTC Fee: 0.04 VTC
how do i buy stuff? shouldnt i be able to get like 20 VTC coins for 0.1 BTC?
is there something majorly wrong with poloniex?>
Buy VTC You have BTC Lowest ask 0.0067 BTC Sell VTC You have VTC Highest bid 0.0065 BTC That is what I am showing, not sure how yours would be different. Sell orders here Price VTC BTC 0.0067 52.7258 0.35326286 0.00677 100 0.677 0.00678 24.19295784 0.16402825 0.00679 46.91746171 0.31856956 0.00683 100 0.683 0.00689 100 0.689 0.0069 4.18990527 0.02891034 0.00695 104.78027223 0.72822289 0.00699 152.17790196 1.06372353 0.007 1.02318807 0.00716231 what is the lowest ask mean? i just attempted to buy 5 VTC coins at 0.006 not 0.0067?? (I put down 0.006 in Price for BTC then i put 5 in Ammount for VTC) and it went through..? blagh i don't get it Is it even going to work? it looks like it has taken away my BTC.. with cryptsy it just asks you how much VTC coin you want. you jot it in and then it gives u a total BTC you need to pay someone please help hmm i think i get it.. i can put a lower value down.. but it doesn't mean anyone will want to seell it to me right? i just found the "cancel" function

Trying a few P2PPool with no Reject and no HW error with over 1MH/s for hours but "no shares yet". Why is that? http://112.175.123.94:9171/static/Normal pools: vert.bitcrush.info https://vtcpool.co.uk/Unable to withdraw, unable to verify email, update VTC address, verify email "invalid token". Ive gone lone periods without a payout on P2Pool, but it averages out in the end. I've been on it since Sunday and have been getting more than I expected to get. It should even out with a string of payments at some point. There is no 'withdraw' you get paid directly to your wallet with your address as the username in cgminer.

I think its gravity well... in order to reduce pool hopping you don't get shares until you have been on for a while, the more you stay on the more shares you get. also you can reduce your difficulty.. smaller difficulty means MORE shares but smaller ones so you can see whats going on instead of having a screen that doesnt move... use the suggested difficulty number from your pool as a starter.

I had some coins there it would be nice if we could have an update I tried 3 options. solo mine, mining pools, p2p pools but zero payout. 51% attack weakness is a design flaw for any new crypto that don't overcome the problem as in the beginning the network hashrate will be easily compromise by large pool with large hashing power. Is VERT able to defend 51% attack? I think limiting the pool size by restricting the registering is not the solution but the core design of blockchain have to be change.

Hi guys,
I'm new to Vertcoin, I have downloaded the Vertcoin wallet and I'm currently solo mining from it, (setgenerate true 2) my hashes/sec is around 600,
How do I know if anything is happening? I was running it all day yesterday and since this morning but the balance etc is unchanged, how long should it take to see a change?
Thanks

you won't solomine anything, join a pool, or a p2pool node.

Cryptoulette now supports Vertcoin....Cryptoulette.com100% Provably Fair - ZERO house edge on all payout odds! Win up to 90,000 LEAF. that site has issues, i spent 12500 LEAF and won 15000 LEAF (across multiple 'spins') and 24 hours later i STILL have not received my apparent winnings. there is no 'contact' info, there is no payouts. its a bit of a scam it seems.

Amazing, VERT held up extremely well during this bitcoin crash, better than most. Buy VERT and avoid the Bitcoin crash! Hell, you're all better off here anyways. If we break 0.008 then we will go parabolic!

you can use the command "getmininginfo" and you should see a value "hashespersec" above zero but i don't think you will find anything with solo mining and i recommend pool mining!
