I feel like this coin is building up pressure at the 0.0027-28 range. It can't stay there for too much longer. Ironically one of the reasons I think that it's so easy for few coins to manipulate the market (as well as mining dumpers) is that everyone is holding their coins. This leaves very few trading at the exchanges.

That being said I can be a buyer if I mine and dump another coin. Anyone have any suggestions or what's profitable these days?

I make some assumptions to check your calculation. Plz correct me when i got something wrong:

5,36 € sounds like you got a rig with ~800-850 Watt which is like 3 x R9280x?
I guess these 3 cards will give you around 1050 kH/s.
1050 KH/s with a difficulty of ~170 will result in ~6-6.5 coins per day.

Lets say 6.25 coins per day with a VTC price of 1.85$  =~ 11.5 $ =~8.4 €

Hi Verters!
I wanted to try out the paper wallet feature - so I created some addresses with the corresponding private keys. I transfered 0.25 to paper wallet Vcojb1ifSDPaKXG9ZSozEMHMW5tVgMBei9. After that I tried to reimport that amount into my win wallet again by executing the "importprivkey XXXXprivatekey" command. Unfortunately I always recevie error: "Error adding key to wallet (code -4)" in the console.
Can anybody tell me what "code -4" means exactly?

   Sorry to hear about your bad experience. These markets can take a toll on anyone right now. Yes there are people who inflate and sell (pump and dump) coins and with a bit of time you start to see the trends and can avoid them. Personally I've chosen to pick coins I have faith in and sit on them. Diversify a bit so not all of your eggs are in one basket.

As for your investment I'm sure with a bit more experience and watching the markets you'll have no problem breaking even. I have a similar setup which I got started in December of last year and I'm already ahead. Even with the markets in the crapper right now.

If this is causing you too much stress you can always sell your rigs and recoup most of your costs. The good news about mining coins is that even with the worst case scenario you can mine the coin de jour and immediately trade it for BTC. Do this long enough and you're ahead.

We all support VTC here and want to see it do well. We have put our time and resources into making it succeed. The value of the coin will go up and down as markets fluctuate but blaming this community for your losses is unfair. I understand you're going through a lot right now so I don't take it personally.

I'm sure if you find you take a step back from this, take a few deep breaths and come back with a clear head you'll find a great group of people willing to help you.

Sorry to hear of your troubles man.  The altcoin market is indeed a fairly dangerous place.. lots of wolf of wallstreet type stuff going on here , for sure.  Without regulations it could get like a real cesspool in some areas.  

It's definitely not a good place to risk life savings.. for me it's mostly play money.. for fun like gambling at a casino.  That said unlike a casino, certain strategies in this market will give you much better odds  As more investors are still pouring into this segment of the market.. I believe if you stick at it , surely you will make back your savings... Best of luck!
