PR is the main thing here. I also afraid many exchangers will not take this coin because of legal issues. But chinese exchangers maybe will. 50kk of something that worth just a small fraction of a penny is not too much. So the point is to draw a media attention to this. But hey, its already happened. May be a comment from a Cainye West himself will help to promote the currency? Look what happened with dogecoins. Developer didn't do anything ppl did everything.

This is your take on it as a miner, but as a business, would say, Cryptsy risk the legal troubles that could follow for including this coin? Even if it if wasn't infringing any copyright or whatnot, it will depend on how Kanye's lawyers argue their case, in other words, we won't know if Kanye's lawyers will do anything about it, and if they do decide do, then it will be in another world of trouble. The lawyers may not be able to get their hands on the creator but like it said in the letter,  "legal actions will be taken against any business that adopt Coinye as form of payment", hmmm makes me wonder if it is worth it from a business point of view.
