Hi -
so, finally a problem that I can't figure out without the already great existing help here. But I might have missed something?

Anyway, my latest addition is an

Antminer U1 USB

since I can't compile myself, I use the special cgminer version by the vendor one can download from Github.
for Windows 7. I used the CP210x_VCP drivers followed by Nadig as suggested.

the highest hash rate I can get is around 1.3 Gh/s, the average is usually lower. and I get quite a number of HWs (average 10 / 5min)
never had any at all with a red fury or block erupter.

so, I check with USBView and there I see that this device is recognized as USB1 device (all my ports are USB2, I checked), but it could be something with the usb host controller?

this is just my suspecion, maybe I am totally off - USB1 = less power = less hash-rate = more hardware errors?
anyway to enfore USB2 in that case?

(Running on a different Win7 machine mainly because my mining rig doesn't have any free slots on the external powered hub and had even more trouble there with the antminer).

just for the record - the USB1/2 questions isn't resolved, but probably doesn't matter. Managed to get U1 running as intended. There is also a good post now by PaintshopPro6 here:
