The development was abandoned because the project was put up for sale due to the OP not having time for it/wanting to focus on other projects. No-one ever bid on it or purchased it, so the project essentially died there as no-one took up development.

That's really sad, it was a pretty old-looking game but it was still fun to play, just because it was built around bitcoin.
