Communication with who? And what do you mean change again? Wouldn't this be the first and only change? We don't have much of a community right now. Changing the letters should be an attempt to gain a larger community, rather than an effort to just maintain the current. |

Changing the letters should be an attempt to gain a larger community, rather than an effort to just maintain the current. It started off as PTC, still displayed that way in the wallet. Then to PIR, which is how it's listed at AllCrypt and what it's been known as for the last 6 weeks or so. No matter if it stays PIR or changes to something else, the wallet needs updated to reflect the new acronym. Around 7.5 million out of the 20 million coins have been mined so far so we should agree on something soon and move forward. Do we have access to the initial post in this thread to update if need be? |

I sent a tweet to @CryptsyKen to add PIR to the new voting section of Cryptsy. They finally got a good system for adding new coins! EDIT: Also sent a support request through Cryptsy to get it added to the list to vote for.  |

UPDATE: Got a response from Patrick at Cryptsy. He has given the request for PIR to the devs to add to the voting list. He also said he really loves the coin and the web site for it.

True we do need more pirates... But just to get as far as we have (on allcrypt) there was some BTC donations as well as a lot of voting so dont let the dream die! ARRRR!!!

Are we keeping PIR or do we really want to change to ARR? ARR sounds cool, but PIR is already established. I think keeping PIR would be better, and I could start a ticket on cryptorush.in for adding PIR to the voting ASAP.  |
