It seems that some whales are trying to create situation of panic to push the weak hands out by making them afraid of these heavy sell walls even most probably they are buying them back by dumping on themselves. DGB has great future this year and can be one of the high performer.
Digibyte is so undervalued right now i think it can easily touch 3000 to 5000 satoshi this year if there is no fud in the market.
General now at the moment so you can say for certain about any project or coin. And I think many will agree that dgb one of many.

Although this post have been replied by one respected member in his way but I will like to add my reaction as well. I do agree with you on this to happen anymore even last year we saw this. Now things have been changed and cryptomarkets are very hot and more and more people are joining so be ready to see increase instead of decrease.

There is certainly some manipulation going on especially with trading bots trying to artificially lower price. That is well noticed.

1) I agree with your future valuation.
2) fuck FUD. FUD from noob accounts is so transparent.

approach your investing like VC's would and you will find DGB is legit and undervalued.

Hi who can help me with addnode and how too ad it in debug console
I can not sync there is no peers

Make sure your firewall and or local network is not blocking peers.  You can always find a real time list of peers here: https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/seed.digibyte.io

Go to Help -> debug console. Use a command like this:
Code:
addnode 127.0.0.1 add

Hi thank you for your help it worked for me firewall was ok there was no peers listed in my peers.dat file many many thank again for your help.

Regards Bayer

Hi i have another question is there a Debug command line for showing all adnodes in peers.dat file ?
i want to know how many addnode peers i have in that file.

The reason is people with money trying to depress the price so they can get more coins for their money.

Can nobody help me?

Hello,

I have a problem with the  DigiByte Android Wallet:
I opened a DGB mobile wallet on 12.12.17 and made a backup right away, bought 7.238 DGB via litebit.eu on 14.12.17 and send on 21.12.17 3,6k back to the litebit.eu wallet . The coins have arrived, but in the mobile wallet it still looked like this after a week.

http://s1.bild.me/bilder/110417/21406571.jpeg

I could not send any more coins, because the confirmation was still outstanding, althrough the blockchain was up to date.

Yesterday I decieded to rest the blockchain and backuped my DGB wallet before.
I reinstalled App and restored the backup from 12.12.17.

After the synchronization it looked like this

http://s1.bild.me/bilder/110417/80424062.jpeg

No more coins in my wallet Sad
I've looked at the transaction closely: https://digiexplorer.info/tx/8823fc080b8c07e35c6e211ae7ad958b064376b04a007498640f4e39a231190b

And noticed that the remaining coins were sent to another address. But this is my old Dogecoin address from 2014.

http://s1.bild.me/bilder/110417/84706303.jpeg

https://chain.so/address/DOGE/DS6A4jTvjzn3aAL9APW6ahxxvhUFkoUDGz

Between 12.12.17 and 21.12.17 I also restored my old Dogecoinwallet with the Dogecoin wallet app.
But how damn my dogecoinaddress comes in my digibytewallet?
I tried to open the Dogecoin wallet backup from 27.01.2014 in the Digibyte wallet. This works, I have 5 peers connected, but the blockchain synch does not work. This always depends on 20.01.14 09:03 p.m..

I think here is an critial software issue.

I am very upset because I did not authorize the payment to the old Dogecoin address.
This was handled by the app.

Does anybody can help me?

Thank you.

Fantastic.....DigiByte has made it to the world’s leading OS hardware wallet, at last….A big thank you to all at Trezor and DigiByte that have made this possible and keep it up please!  Smiley

Today DigiByte, in the eyes of many, has become more valuable and the game to accumulate more for less is on again!  Wink

why dgb can be sent to non-existent wallet? You can also make some kind of protection
That would be difficult. It would need a new type of entry in the blocks and every wallet would need to send their created addresses for registering there. Then every wallet would need to build a database with all addresses, which would bloat the wallet by quite a bit, and scan this database for every transaction for the receiving address, at least for not recently used ones. It'd still slow down doing a transaction but at least be a lot quicker than rescanning the whole blockchain for the receiving address. Plus you couldn't just give out, or use for own purposes, an address of a cold wallet because the address generating wallet must be online, or the address imported into one, before an address can be used for receiving funds.

Anyway, it's not much different for bank transactions. While that shouldn't work for non existing IBANs it's a lot more likely to wrongly insert an existing one there and if that happens the funds are gone, no matter if by typo or fraud, if the wrong receiver is not nice enough to send them back. Banks could reverse those transactions, they do if it's their fault, but if they don't have to pay for a mistake then it's your bad luck and problem and the transaction final.
each purse after all, there are public and private key, if there is no the wallet is not created, right?
Without a wallet there's no private key to the address (public key). But a wallet never has to be online and even if it is it doesn't announces for what addresses it has the private key, so there are completely usable key-pairs but no other wallet would truly know for which ones until an address is used to send funds, which again, by often used practices, may end the use of that address. So it quite might be the case that most of the addresses the chain really knows they are, or rather were, valid key pairs are actually already dead ones.
as when creating a purse is checked for a duplicate?
