Really? Where did you get the information or hints?
Personally, I wish Digibyte will be listed in Binance someday this year.
DGB devs does not want to be on binance.
Exactly! It is always true.

Digibyte is on enough exchanges. It is a good coin with a good history. I still do not understand why it is always undervalued by the market? Long time holder and will continue to be one for the next few years at least.

From May 1st to June 24th, Digibyte fell from about 0,049 USD to 0,018 USD: -63% price

From June 24th to July 9th, Digibyte got up from 0,018 USD to 0,045 USD: +150% price

If you held DGB from May 1st to July 13th, you're in loss. from 0,049 USD to 0,035 USD: -28% price

The thing to take from this is that you should buy large decreases in price like -40% or more and sell when the price doubles. No need to be greedy and go for 10x price increases that won't ever happen in a few days.

Exactly. But most people don't have the patience to wait for a -50% drop in price and they buy back when it drops only -10%. So when the price continue falling, they panic.

Fluctuations on DGB mining today....A new batch of ASICs coming to market?.....possibly.... and if so, more mining normally equates to higher price but I guess you can never be certain it hasn't been factored in already. Happy mining people!  Wink

Hi - Digibyte Core v7.16.1 release was planned for the summer 2018. This has now been removed from DigiByte Foundation Web Page https://digibytefoundation.org/development

Do you know the status of 7.16.1? Is it cancelled,or postponed or still happening this summer? Its important to know from a mining perspective and also to know if Pools will support the new algorithms?

Thanks

Well it's certainly at very least postponed and all but cancelled for the time being.  So right now, DigiByte is 100% ASIC and it doesn't look like that is going to change this summer, as far as anyone can tell that is. DigiByte is not about to fork to a gpu algo that will more than likely be ASIC again within months, it is simply a waste of resources that DigiByte does not have to spare and frankly might actually be detrimental to the project anyway.

I know it is being considered....I also know DigiByte wont just add without 'careful' consideration and testing.
So I don't see this happening in 2018 really....but going forward, especially if mining becomes more centralized which is quite likely, I'd say it's a real possibility!

I'd also say the community needs to come up with the funding if they really want to move with this.

I think that it is actually very difficult to predict what kind of trend will be when you add a coin to a particular exchange. Finance I think the same goes for Dgb only have a positive impact in the future. These coins are better to just keep and not make sudden movements.
