Beginners don't need technical analysis but technical analysis is crucial for trading and in my opinion every trader whether crypto trader or not should learn it. If you don't learn it, you may always need other people's opinions. There are many scammers so you should be able to make your own decisions.

In every aspect of business technical analysis is a must. Ofcourse when investing in crypto we must first study how to analyze the price movement specially if you are engaging yourself in trading. Trading is risky and requires a good analysis and experience before investing on it. Beginners must first learn lots of things and strategies before starting trading. Knowing that crypto price volatility is high we must be careful selecting coin or altcoin we want to invest in.

The technical analysis is the basic knowledge necessary for successful trade in any sphere, I include the cryptoworld therefore for successful knowledge of this sphere it is necessary to study her from scratch, including the technical analysis which in the sum with experience of mistakes and progress will bring persistent beginners in "market giants".

Technical analysis is useless when trading with crypto currency.
It's like a horoscope or a voodoo ritual.
Since the price can only move up or down, then part of the forecasts are guessed.
But with analysis this has nothing to do.
There is no way to predict. Just to ascertain.

As new to Crypto, I can say that Technical Analysis is important for not only for investors but also for bigginers becausei it can guide us in analyzing the movement of  the prices of bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, bitcoincash and other cryptocurrency based on an examination of past price movements.  It uses patterns in market data to identify trends and make predictions which will tell when to invest.

yes of course which is that is the most important specially begginers to avoid such problem to prevent regrets as well 'cause being without knowledge is so risky which you will end up to losing money after, so must educate our selves first before entering investment on crypto or any manner to prevent regrets and etc.

Of cos every crypto trader need technical analysis in order to trade effectively however, fundamental analysis supersedes  technical analysis in crypto trading based in my observation as a trader for some years now

Predictions are not 100% accurate, it's good to know but it's not bullet proof. I listen to Carter Thomas sometimes, he knows his stuff but he's often off.

Very interesting question…

It actually could be that TA spoiled me, because I am a shit trader and I know it. And looking at my track record, I can't help but realize that I did best at the beginning, where I didn't know shit about TA, and my best returns were due to fundamental analysis.

But if they need them or not comes down to what those newbies want to do and become. If they want to do daytrading, they will probably need TA. If they want to hodl longterm, they don't really need it.

Newbies need everything to "get" to know cause that way it will only make them possible to just know how those world is working and how to invest money or just live in this "hard" world.

The market is still very young. Technical and fundamental analysis does not give the desired results, as the market reacts very sharply to these or other news. No doubt the market should be studied, but now it is important to understand that the price does not lend itself to analysis, so be careful.

First, you need to understand what a cryptocurrency is and what value it carries, which of them you want to invest in and why? If you are going to move to trade on the stock exchange, in most cases, you all will merge.

Yes, it much needed for the beginners. Technical Analysis is a basic of trading, not only crypto. Even if you just an investor, not trader, you also need to know basics of the TA to choose the best entry point for your buys. And you will be aware when you should "fix" in profits. Wish you a good profit!

Ofcourse in cryptocurrency you need technical analysis you need to know the past data like prices, volume, ups&downs on where you wanna invest because that is a factor to consider, if the data shows down trend for a couple of months it will affect your decision and be cautious about on where you will invest.

It all depends on what kind of analysis you mean, and how deep you mean by that.
I'm in the technical part pretty deadbeat. And with all my desire, I can't even conduct a surface analysis of some sort of calculations or mathematical ideas, or complex computer solutions and developments.
However, I have eyes and I can analyze the part of the project that is available to me, which I understand and can assess the risks. In a deep analysis, I trust the opinion of professionals. I read all sorts of evaluations of experts. What disadvantages they noticed and what preferences.

Of couкse, Technical analysis needs to be studied  at least for self-development. This is necessary as an auxiliary tool for trade, for understanding how the market works. But basically a lot depends on the fundamental analysis
