So I can buy a 120GH/s Avalon for little over 400$. I know they use alot of electricity but I rent all-in for a fixed price so basically I have no electricity bill. Could this be profitable? Basically I only need to earn back my 400$ investment, the rest will be profit for me. How long do you think it will take before I've earned back my investment? I know there are calculators online but I dont know how accurate they are so I'd like a second opinion from you guys. Hope to hear from you guys!

Yes, that is a solid investment. At $400, .35/KW (stupid high) AND 1000W power draw, you are looking at a payoff of less than three weeks.

I would say it's a scam, but I'll let you make that decision.

Please DO NOT send me private messages asking for help setting up GPU miners. I will not respond!!!

I would recomend using escrow...

And test that miner before you send coins to seller...

Thanks for the replies! Indeed seems to good to be true, but I'm using escrow and I can test the device before I confirm the payment. So worst case I waste 2 weeks shipping time waiting on nothing....

Right... use escrow every time... If seller want you to send money (if only 25%) before, quit...

Well... time is only thing, you can lose...

Wow, it is still very profitable!

http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/

That mining.thegenesisblock.com site is very useful. A friend shared with me this site, which appears to beat out most other calculators in terms of the factors it allows you to consider:
http://btcinvest.net/en/bitcoin-mining-profit-calculator.php

Just as a comparison, check out the "mining calculators" submenu on coinwarz
(near top of page at) http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency
Notice that their page defaults to show a dual miner calculator... (sha256 and scrypt)

Update: I ordered two of these. Alibabaexpress cancelled my order and provided a refund, as the seller did not appear to be shipping anything.

That deal is amazing! Surely it is profitable, right now. Even better if you can get it as fast as possible. Even if you just buy and sell it for more and mine until you sell it I can still see a profit there.
